Lex Luger Comments on His WWE Hall of Fame Induction

As noted before, WWE announced on Friday that former WWE and WCW wrestler Lex Luger will be getting inducted into their WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the 2025 class.

Luger reflected on Twitter about his upcoming induction into WWE’s Hall of Fame.

LA Knight Comments on His WWE U.S. Title Victory

As noted before, Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania featured LA Knight defeating Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new WWE United States Champion.

Following the show, WWE held a digital exclusive backstage interview with Knight discussing his thoughts about his U.S. title victory and his journey in becoming a two-time champion.

“Two times. Two times, United States Champion. It was only a few years ago, I thought my career was never gonna go anywhere. I thought my career was kind of nearing its end, and here I am, all the sudden just taking off, all the sudden just winning the United States Championship not once, but twice. When I think about it, it took me how many times last week to get here? Two times. Why? Because I had to wrestle some goof one time last week. Then I had to wrestle two other goofs another time last week. Two times to get here, two times the champion. Two times is nice. Double mint gum. Oh yeah, double mint twins, are they gonna be here? Nah, nah. But that’s okay because you got this man just dropping BFTs on everybody, turning three into two. Two-time US Champ, and there ain’t nothing anybody can do about it. Shinsuke Nakamura, you had a nice little reign in the shadows. Hope you enjoyed it, but now we’re bringing it out to the light like nobody else can. Once again, we can all pledge allegiance to the champ of the United States of America. Yeah.”

Knight also reflected on Twitter about his title victory and his current plans for his title reign.

“It’s been too long, man. Way too long. What I need to do is I need to get these [sideplates] off here. What I need to do is get that LA Knight back on there. What I need to do is get that strap on, and what I need to do is take this title back to places, maybe that it once was, but to places that it’s never been. What I need to do is take this title all over the damn world. I think we’re going to Europe not too long from now, and the US Champ, the US Title, coming on over there, and I’ll tell you what, just the same as here in the US, you can all pledge allegiance to the champ of the United States, with everybody saying, ‘LA Knight.’ Two times, we did it again.”

Vic Joseph Comments on Corey Graves Return to NXT

A recent episode of the Getting Over podcast featured WWE NXT commentator Vic Joseph as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Joseph’s thoughts about Corey Graves’ return to NXT for its commentary team.

“I think he had to have a new set of eyes and take a deep breath. Stuff we used to talk about when we’d travel in the car together was, ‘Hey man, it’d be cool to call the shows together one day.’ Once he and I had the talk, ‘Dude, this is what we’ve always talked about.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, you’re right.’ I always wore a bow tie every WrestleMania, Corey Graves gave me that as a gift at my very first WrestleMania. We have that personal connection. I think the difficulty of it for Corey, and I think this is where you’re starting to see that seamless transition now, he doesn’t have to do as much. He can take a deep breath and a step back and understand that it is three of us. Three unique individuals and distinct personalities for one goal for one show. It’s been getting better each and every week. It’s only going to get better. All three of us are stoked to be in New York on Tuesday. It’s a chance for not only the brand, but us as a broadcast team to take that next step together and start looking at our first WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas.”
