Chris Bey Comments on His Love of Everyone Participating & Supporting FSW’s Beynefit Show

As noted before, Chris Bey has been out of action for TNA Wrestling since this past October due to a neck injury and surgery.

Bey recently reflected on Twitter giving his thanks to everyone participating and supporting Future Stars of Wrestling for their upcoming Mecca X: Chris Bey Beynefit event on March 23rd in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“The idea that people from WWE, TNA, AEW, NJPW and more are all coming together for one night only is so incredible.

As a kid, all I wanted was to be accepted for being a wrestling fan. Chasing my passions has allowed me the opportunity to create a universe where THIS is possible.

Love to everyone participating and supporting.

Mandy Rose Comments on Why a Return to Wrestling is “Not In The Cards” for Her Right Now

Former WWE talent Mandy Rose, real name Amanda Rose Saccomanno, has been away from wrestling since her release from WWE in December of 2022.

A recent episode of the Power Alphas podcast featured co-host Rose giving her thoughts about why she currently has no plans for in-ring return for her wrestling career at the moment.

“My number one question, across all social media, is always, ‘When are you coming back to wrestling? Are you going to have a return?’ Obviously, I speak about it a lot and try to answer questions as best as I can. I never know if there is going to be a return in the future for me, but recently Sabby [Tino Sabbatelli] and I saw a chiropractor. There is a little trauma in the cervical spine area. Nothing too crazy, thankfully, but after eight years of wrestling and years before that of bodybuilding and putting bars on my back and playing sports, dancing, all of that puts a huge toll on your spine. I’m really learning how much it involves your spine in general. Basically, I have some degeneration in some of my discs, which wouldn’t really be a thing if I didn’t have little symptoms.

I had been getting tingling in my hands, which comes and goes with me, but it started getting kind of bad. Went to a chiropractor, got an x-ray, and found out I had some arthritis in the C6, C7, C8 area, some degeneration in my discs. I’m getting some treatment. Right now, I feel like a wrestling return for me wouldn’t really make much sense because of the wear and tear it does on your body. Not to say that it can’t happen in the future. I don’t need surgery or anything like that, thank God. I’m doing a deep compression machine and getting some adjustments. It’s good that I’m taking care of this now.

Just for all the people who are always asking (about a return), maybe right now it’s not something that is in my cards, necessarily. With everything else I have going on and avenues that I have, I have so much more freedom now and time to be able to do other things and projects we have in the works and be my own boss, which is something that I really love.”

Hardy stated “Great guy, amazing look. Just looks like a star, looks like a total badass, has a great attitude, very open to things. I really enjoyed working with him and teaming with him. Very respectful, very humble, just overall I had a great, great experience working with him.” Hardy also gave his thoughts about Femi being the NXT Champion. Hardy stated “He obviously has the look where those first few ringside seats in the first five or six rows, they’re gonna look at this guy like, whoa, this guy is a monster, he’s a beast, this is someone I would not want to have to fight with. This is someone I wouldn’t want to interact with if there was hostility between us. He looks like a believable killer and that’s one of the first things that helps you in pro wrestling. He’s been doing this for such a short amount of time, I think his whole journey has been about three years, so he’s only going to continue to get better and better, especially with the mentality that he has.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
