Chris Bey Makes Appearance at FSW’s Benefit for Bey Show, Swerve Strickland & Rey Mysterio Also Appears

Sunday’s Mecca X: Beynefit for Bey show for Future Stars of Wrestling in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Chris Bey making a special appearance. This show was held to support Bey’s medical costs for his recovery from neck injury and surgery.

During the main event, Bey walked out to the ring without the assistance of crutches or a wheelchair and hugged both Karrion Kross and Hammerstone after their match. Bey then gave a speech thanking the crowd for their support and stated that he loves them and he is nothing without them.

Besides Bey, Swerve Strickland and Rey Mysterio also made special appearances on the show.

During the show, Strickland came out to the ring and led a “Whose House?, Chris Bey’s House” chant with the crowd before praising Bey for his strength in his recovery. Strickland also stated that he looks forward to when Bey eventually gets back in the ring and when he is ready, he’ll be there for him.

Strickland was originally scheduled to compete in a match against Kenny King but was not medically cleared following his ruptured eardrum injury at AEW’s Revolution 2025 event earlier this month.

Also during the show, a video aired featuring Mysterio. During the video, Mysterio stated that he wished he was there and that he and his family have been praying for Bey and they wished him a “healthy, blessed, and patient recovery.” Mysterio also praised Bey’s progress with his recovery stating that it has been amazing. Mysyerio also thanked everyone in attendance and everyone who was working at the show for their support of Bey.
