Ryan Nemeth Says “A Literal Billionaire” Sent Him Lawsuit, Actual Legal Notice That was Sent to Nemeth

As noted before, former AEW and current TNA talent Ryan Nemeth filed a lawsuit this past February against AEW, AEW CEO Tony Khan, and CM Punk over claims of assault was committed against him by Punk and breach of contract, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing and intentional interference with prospective advantage by AEW and Khan. AEW and Khan had filed a petition earlier this month requesting for the lawsuit to be moved into private arbitration.

In a now deleted text on Twitter, Nemeth had recently updated his bio on Twitter that had stated that a “literal billionaire” had sent someone to sue him just before his official stage debut on Off-Broadway.

Raise your hand if a literal billionaire sent someone to sue you 4 minutes before you walked onstage for your off-Broadway debut play this weekend. 🙋‍♂️

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the legal paper sent to Nemeth was not an actual lawsuit and instead was just AEW responding to his lawsuit and their petition to move Nemeth’s lawsuit to private arbitration.

Johnson reported that this 21-page court filing by AEW is not seeking damages from Nemeth and was mostly made up of his original lawsuit and sealed copies of AEW documentation and AEW’s argument for why the lawsuit should be moved to private arbitration.

Swerve Strickland Says He Has Five Years Left in His Wrestling Career

As noted before, Swerve Strickland had signed a new contract with AEW this past August to remain in the company until 2029.

Strickland provided an update earlier today on Twitter that fans have the next five years of him and then he will be leaving wrestling afterwards.
