Paul Walter Hauser Challenges QT Marshall to Match in Future, Marshall Responds
Thursday’s ROH TV show for Ring of Honor featured actor and wrestler Paul Walter Hauser issuing a challenge to QT Marshall for a match in the future.
During the show, a video aired featuring audio of Hauser talking about his incident with Marshall during the AEW Revolution 2025 Zero Hour pre-show involving Marshall throwing an alcoholic beverage at his face. Hauser claimed Marshall purposely did that knowing that he has been sober for three years.
In a follow up, another video aired featuring Marshall being interviewed by Renee Paquette about Hauser’s match challenge and the issues between the two. After some words by Marshall explaining his side of the story, Marshall stated that he will only consider giving Hauser a match against him if he shows him respect.
This is personal for Paul Walter Hauser as he calls out @QTMarshall!

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Warner Bros Discovery officials were thrilled with the Minecraft The Movie integration for this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in St. Paul, Minnesota. Johnson reported that the current expectation is that there will be more integrations for AEW shows in the future.
AEW’s Revolution 2025 event earlier this month featured Will Ospreay defeating Kyle Fletcher in a Steel Cage match. This match was notable for Ospreay hitting a Spanish Fly off the top of the cage and landing on his hip. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that Ospreay is currently feeling and is just simply selling his injury on AEW television.
As noted before, TNA Talent Relations and Producing Gail Kim was among the executives fired by Athem and TNA Wrestling this past Tuesday. In a recent episode of the Grilling JR podcast, co-host Jim Ross gave his thoughts about him fully endorsing the idea of AEW hiring Kim to a position in the company. Ross stated “No [I wouldn’t be surprised to see Gail Kim end up in AEW at some point]. I would endorse that. If Tony Khan asked me my thoughts on the matter, I would suggest – go for it. She’s very, very valuable and does a great job. I have great respect for Gail Kim, and her reputation speaks for itself. She gets results. She’s very good at working with talent. So – I’m a big Gail Kim fan. And she should not be unemployed for long in my world.” (Transcript h/t: F4WOnline.com)
As noted before, Cedric Alexander was released by WWE this past February as part of a larger batch of talent releases. In a recent interview with the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, Alexander gave his thoughts about the potential of him joining AEW and reuniting with the Hurt Syndicate in the future. Alexander stated “100%. That’s a big chapter of my career that I really felt was never fully explored and I think it’ll be great to finish that out.” Alexander also gave his thoughts about when he first knew that the Hurt Business’ time in WWE was going to be cut short. Alexander stated “I knew something was wrong when Bobby won the title on that episode of Raw, and Vince made a very direct comment to not have me and Shelton get it in the ring and celebrate with him. That was when I was like, Oh, that’s not good news. Whatever’s happening next, I’m not gonna like it. Then, slowly but surely, think was it two or three weeks later that we did the full breakup the first time of the three times we did.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
In a recent interview with TV Insider, Adam “Cope” Copeland gave his thoughts about the creative process in AEW and the online misconceptions over wrestlers coming up with the finishes to their matches. Cope stated “I don’t factor in where I end up. I always say, ‘Where do you need me? You want me to go in this direction? Cool, I’ll start putting together some ideas.’ It’s a collaborative effort, but I really enjoy that. I enjoy piecing together stories. Contrary to popular belief, we don’t come up with the finishes. I always just ask where do you need me? Point me in whatever direction you need me, and I’ll get to work. On coming back, it felt like, ‘Okay, you want me here because I’m coming back from an injury, I’m nominated for an Emmy and we want to capitalize on that buzz. Cool, let’s do this.’ Then we would try to do a cohesive story with the Death Riders and try to get them some momentum going forward.“
In a recent episode of the 1 Of A Kind podcast, ECW legend and WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam gave his thoughts about the spiked bat spot Jon Moxley took during the March 19th episode of AEW Dynamite and why the more AEW does spots like that, the more he would rather be associated with WWE than AEW. RVD stated “It’s not my thing, not my kind of thing. That’s not wrestling to me, but obviously that is sacrificing a lot for the business, I mean that could be said about it. But the more AEW has been doing stuff like that, the more personally I feel like I would rather be associated with WWE than AEW you know? Like a couple years ago it was like, ‘Man they’re growing, they’re trying things to get up there,’ and then there’s a feel that like the inmates are running the prison, which there always has been, for better or worse. I mean that was used as a good point at first, like ‘Hey, the boys are running it, cool,’ but for me this serves as an example of why that might not be a good idea but it is a style of wrestling. I personally look at it as being lower than the standard, substandard because it’s going to draw only a certain niche crowd that’s into that kind of stuff. I didn’t like it. It’s really crazy dangerous. I don’t want to knock their freedom of expression. I think that’s probably cool to them or else they would turn it down when it was at the idea phase if it didn’t sound cool, right? So congratulations to pulling off a crazy stunt, death defying stunt for better or worse, you know?” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
