Momo Watanabe Reportedly Suffered Potential Ankle Injury at Revolution 2025

Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2025 event at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California featured Mercedes Mone defeating Momo Watanabe to retain the TBS Championship.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Watanabe was carried to the back after her match with Mone.

Johnson reported that the current belief is that Watanabe might have suffered a potential ankle injury. Johnson reported that Watanabe is also believed to have suffered the injury after coming off the ropes late in her match against Mone.

No other details reportedly are currently known at the moment.


Wardlow Knee Injury & Return Plans Status Update

As noted before, Wardlow has been noticeably absent from AEW over the past year that was later revealed to be due to a knee injury.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources reported that Wardlow was seen in Los Angeles on Sunday ahead of AEW’s Revolution 2025 event in the city. Sapp reported that it is not known if Wardlow was backstage at the event but that it “wouldn’t be surprising” if he was.

Sapp reported that Wardlow has been in Los Angeles working on another project.

Sapp also reported that a potential timetable for Wardlow’s return to AEW is currently not known.
