Killswitch Double Pneumonia Illness & AEW Return Plans Update, Backstage Update on Rumored Alternative Ending Plans for AEW Revolution 2025

As noted before, Killswitch has been out of action since this past September due to a double pneumonia illness.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Killswitch was in attendance backstage at this past Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2025 event in Los Angeles, California.

It was reported that those spoken to have not confirmed the recent rumors of AEW officials had an “alternative ending” planned for their Revolution 2025 event. One source spoken to specifically brought up Killswitch’s backstage appearance when asked about the rumors of this “alternative ending” plans.

It was reported that further inquiries into Killswitch’s backstage appearance did reveal that AEW officials did have discussions regarding his potential involvement in the AEW World Championship. It was also reported that those spoken to did not provide any other details regarding Killswitch’s potential role for the rumored alternative ending.

It was also reported that it is currently not known if Killswitch has been medically cleared to compete.


“Speedball” Mike Bailey Comments on Making His In-Ring Debut in AEW

As noted before, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Fresno, California featured former TNA talent “Speedball” Mike Bailey making his official in-ring debut for AEW. Bailey was revealed as the Wild Card competitor in the AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament. Following his match, AEW CEO Tony Khan had announced that Bailey has been officially signed to the company.

Bailey recently reflected on Twitter about him recently making his official in-ring debut in AEW.

Will Ospreay Comments on His Belief “AEW Is The Best Wrestling In North America Right Now”

A recent episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast featured Will Ospreay as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Ospreay’s thoughts about his belief that AEW is currently the best wrestling in North America.

“I believe in what AEW is doing. I believe in the style. I believe in the genre. I believe it is the best wrestling in North America right now. I just want to drive that home. I want to be the guy. I want to keep doing what I’m doing out here and hope we can keep putting out these classic shows.”
