During tonight’s show, The Learning Tree was seen backstage and Jericho talking about Bihg Bill & Bryan Keith needing to prove why they still deserve to learn from under his tree. The Learning Tree Challenges Hurt Syndicate for AEW World Tag Titles at AEW Dynasty 2025
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the second of two new potential matches for the card of Dynasty 2025.
This new potential match is an AEW World Tag Team Championship match of The Learning Tree (“Bad Apple” Bryan Keith & Big Bill) vs. The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley) (c).
This new potential match was setup following the Learning Tree interrupting the Hurt Syndicate following their segment with MJF over MVP agreeing to let MJF join the group and Lashley being against it. After a war of the words between the two teams that was very one-sided in favor of Hurt Syndicate, Bill issued a challenge to the Hurt Syndicate for the AEW World Tag titles at Dynasty. MVP responded stating that they will consider it only if the Learning Tree earns it by winning a match first.

MJF Accepts Hurt Syndicate Membership Offer But Lashley Rejects It
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured MJF giving his answer to MVP over his recent offer to join the Hurt Syndicate.
During the show, MJF came out to the ring and after some insults directed at the St. Paul crowd, MJF called out MVP to give his answer. This led to the Hurt Syndicate’s music playing and MVP coming out to the ring. After some friendly talk between the two, MJF stated that he wants to be in the “business of hurting people” and extended his hand for a shake to make it official.
Before MVP could shake to make it official, the Hurt Syndicate’s music played again to interrupt and Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin came out to the ring. Lashley got up into MJF’s face and demanded he handed over the Hurt Syndicate card despite MJF’s protests. Lashley then grabbed the card and proceeded to rip it up. This led to MJF being upset over it and MVP trying to insist that they are cool and that everything is cool. MJF then left the ring angry over what happened.
MJF has made his decision, but not everyone may be in agreement about it…
