AEW Dynamite Notes: AEW International Title & AEW World Title Matches Set for Dynasty 2025, MJF to Give Answer to Hurt Syndicate Offer Next Week, Toni Storm Challenges Megan Bayne for AEW Women’s World Title at Dynasty 2025, Collision Slam Dunk Shows Cards

“Speedball” Mike Bailey & Ricochet Wins AEW International Title Eliminator Tournament & Match with Kenny Omega Set for AEW Dynasty 2025

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha, Nebraska featured “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Ricochet defeating Mark Davis and Orange Cassidy in a Four-way match for the Finals of the AEW International Championship Eliminator tournament.

The ending to this match featured Bailey attempting a backslide pin to Davis as Ricochet joined in and did a stacked pin to Davis at the same time resulting in the referee declaring both of them winners.

As a result of their victory, Bailey and Ricochet will be facing off against Kenny Omega for the AEW International Championship at AEW Dynasty 2025.


MJF to Give Answer to Hurt Syndicate Membership Offer Next Week

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured MJF revealing he will give his answer to MJF’s offer to join the Hurt Syndicate next week.

During the show, MJF was seen backstage in his dressing room. MJF talked about the race to see who will become the next AEW World Champion and proceeded to run down the various challengers and him being the best fit to become the next champion. MJF then held up the business card MVP gave to him last week as his offer to join the Hurt Syndicate. MJF talked about “Dictator Jon” having a group of people around him and how it would be a good idea for him to do the same. MJF then stated that the last time he had something like that, he was burned. MJF then stated that he will give his answer to MVP and the fans about his Hurt Syndicate membership offer at next week’s Dynamite show.


Swerve Strickland vs. Jon Moxley for AEW World Title Set for Dynasty 2025

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the second of two new matches confirmed for Dynasty 2025, which takes place on April 6th at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This new match announced was an AEW World Championship match of Swerve Strickland vs. Jon Moxley (c).

This match was setup following Strickland defeating Ricochet in a #1 Contender’s match at AEW Revolution 2025 and Moxley defeating Cope in a wild Street Fight match to retain his title.

Toni Storm Challenges Megan Bayne for AEW Women’s World Title at Dynasty 2025

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured one new potential match for the card of AEW Dynasty 2025.

This new potential match is an AEW Women’s World Championship match of Megan Bayne vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm (c).

This new potential match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over the issues between Bayne and Storm. During tonight’s show, Bayne faced off against Statlander in a match and tossed Statlander into Storm who was seated at the commentary table for guest commentary.

Following Bayne’s victory, Storm tapped up her wrist and went into the ring leading to the two brawling as security and AEW officials ran out to try to separate the two. After Storm sent Bayne over the ropes to the outside, Storm grabbed a microphone and after some not PG innuendos, Storm issued a challenge to Bayne with her AEW Women’s title on the line for Dynasty 2025.


Current Cards for This Week’s AEW Collision Slam Dunk Saturday & Sunday Shows

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured six new matches announced for the cards of this week’s Collision Slam Dunk Saturday and Slam Dunk Sunday shows on March 22nd and March 23rd.

These upcoming shows will be taped on Wednesday at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.

These new matches were setup following promos, storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.

In regards to AEW’s Collision Slam Dunk Saturday show, three new matches were announced.

These new matches announced were:

  • Max Caster Open Challenge Series match – Max Caster vs. mystery opponent
  • Trios match – Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita & Murder Machines (Lance Archer & Brian Cage)) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs, Mark Briscoe, & Rocky Romero
  • Julia Hart vs. Queen Aminata

These new matches announced were:

  • AEW World Trios Championship – Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) & AR Fox vs. Death Riders (PAC, Wheeler Yuta, & Claudio Castagnoli) (c)
