More on NXT Feb. 4, 2025 Viewership

The February 4th episode of WWE NXT saw NXT gain a slight increase in key demographic ratings but suffered a large decline in overall viewership.

NXT drew 766,000 viewers and a 0.20 key demographic rating on The CW.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reasons for NXT’s mixed results this week was due to the large decline from their Over 50 demographic viewership group, which its percentage was not given. This offset the small increase from their overall key demographic viewership group, which was up 5.5% compared to last week’s show. Of the key demographic viewership increase, NXT’s younger key demographic viewership group was up 22.2% compared to last week’s show.

In terms of key demographic viewership, NXT had 268,000 viewers. Meltzer reported that NXT’s male/female viewership skew was 70% in favor of males.

In a recent interview with Faces Magazine, Chelsea Green gave her thoughts about her feeling that it is time for WWE to bring a WrestleMania event back to Canada. Green stated “We haven’t had a WrestleMania in Canada in over 20 years—it’s time. The fans here bring something special. Just look at how massive Money in the Bank was last year. Now, with WWE’s new Netflix deal giving Canadians access to Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and all premium live events, I think the timing is perfect. I personally think we need to keep bringing more big events to Canada. And honestly, if we don’t get a WrestleMania soon, I think we need to start a petition.
