Jey Uso Picks Gunther & World Title for His WrestleMania 41 Match

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee featured the first official match set for WrestleMania 41, which takes place on April 19-20 at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

This new match was a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match of Jey Uso vs. Gunther (c).

This match was inititally setup following Uso winning this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match and him and Gunther’s recent bad blood issues with each other. During tonight’s show, Uso came out to the ring and was in the middle of performing an encore Yeet dance only to be attacked from behind by Gunther.

Gunther tossed Uso into the ring and continued his attack while telling Uso to not pick him for WrestleMania. This led to WWE officials rushing out to pull Gunther off of Uso which led to Gunther getting his hands on Uso again and laid him out with a powerbomb. As Gunther was leaving to the back, Uso grabbed a microphone and stated that he was picking Gunther for his choice of WrestleMania 41 opponent despite Gunther warning him to not do so.

Bayley Qualifies for Women’s Elimination Chamber Match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one qualifying match for this year’s Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

This match was Bayley defeating Lyra Valkyria.

As a result of her victory, Bayley joins Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan as those who have officially qualified for this year’s Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Logan Paul Qualifies for Men’s Elimination Chamber Match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one qualifying match for this year’s Men’s Elimination Chamber match.

This match was Logan Paul defeating Rey Mysterio.

As a result of his victory, Paul joins Drew McIntyre, John Cena, and CM Punk as those who have officially qualified for this year’s Men’s Elimination Chamber match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, which takes place on March 1st at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

  • Men’s Elimination Chamber match – John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Logan Paul vs. TBD vs. TBD

IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley for WWE Women’s World Title Set for March 3rd WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of the RAW After Elimination Chamber 2025 show on March 3rd at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

This new match announced was a WWE Women’s World Championship match of IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley (c).

This match was initially setup following last week’s show over Ripley accidentally costing SKY the chance to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

During tonight’s show, Damage CTRL confronted Ripley backstage and SKY told Ripley that she cost her WrestleMania and she is coming for her. Ripley responded stating that she looks forward to it.

In a follow-up segment, Ripley confronted Damage CTRL backstage and told SKY that she had talked to RAW GM Adam Pearce and got a match set between them for the WWE Women’s World title in three weeks on the RAW After Elimination Chamber show.

Two New Matches Announced for Next Week’s RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured two new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on February 17th at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

These new matches announced were:

  • Penta vs. Pete Dunne
  • AJ Styles vs. Dominic Mysterio

These matches were setup following promos, storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.
