WWE Reportedly Considering Plans for Multi-Man Match for Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 41
WWE reportedly is currently considering plans for Bron Breakker to defend his Intercontinental Championship in a multi-man match at WrestleMania 41, according to WrestleVotes Radio.
It was reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have been pitching ideas for a multi-man match to take place at this April’s WrestleMania 41 event. It was also reported that a multi-man match has become a tradition at WrestleMania with the Intercontinental and Tag Team titles being the usual choices for this type of match.
It was also reported that it is currently not known if this match would feature a stipulation like a ladder being involved but Breakker is currently not expected to be defending his title in a one-on-one match.
WWE Considering Plans to Add Another Event to WrestleMania 41 Week
WWE reportedly is currently considering plans of adding another event to their schedule of events planned for this April’s WrestleMania 41 week in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials are currently considering plans of adding a NXT television taping on April 22nd in Las Vegas. This taping reportedly would be for the show following the upcoming NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 event.
Johnson reported that WWE hasn’t made an official decision yet but this is something that has been discussed internally of late. Johnson also reported that it is possible that this planned taping could take place at the UFC Apex for a potential location.
A&E WWE Programming Ratings – February 23, 2025
This past Sunday’s WWE LFG episode drew 209,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This was up compared to the premiere show’s 160,000 viewers but down compared to its 0.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
This past Sunday’s WWE Rivals episode drew 248,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This was up compared to last week’s show 178,000 viewers but down compared to its 0.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This episode was notable for being the season four premiere show and also focused on memorable Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Mr. T rivalry.
This past Sunday’s WWE Greatest Moments premiere episode drew 232,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.03 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This was up compared to last week’s show 169,000 viewers but down compared to its 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This episode focused on the Royal Rumble.
