Stephanie Vaquer Wins NXT Women’s North American Title

Saturday’s WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025 event at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. featured Stephanie Vaquer defeating Fallon Henley to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion.

This was Vaquer’s first championship victory in her WWE NXT career.

Mystery Group Makes Surprise NXT Debut at Vengeance Day 2025

Saturday’s WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025 event also featured a new mystery group making their surprise NXT debut appearance.

Following Fraxiom’s victory over Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura to retain their NXT Tag Team Championship, Nathan Frazer & Axiom and Briggs & Inamura shook hands in the middle of the ring in a sign of respect for the great match they had. Their celebration got interrupted after four mystery masked men ran out from the crowd and into the ring and attacked all four men laying them out. As the mystery group left the ring, the crowd chanted “Who are you?” to the mystery guys.

During the attack, NXT commentator Vic Joseph identified the mystery attackers as NXT talents Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Keanu Carver, and Saquon Shugars.

In a follow-up segment, this new mystery group interrupted Oba Femi’s victory celebration after he retained his NXT Championship against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. As Femi was celebrating, the lights went out and several spotlights shined revealing the mystery guys. The mystery group then rushed to the ring and attacked Femi laying him out.

Santino Marella Makes Surprise WWE Return Appearance at Vengeance Day 2025

Saturday’s WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025 event also featured Santino Marella making a surprise return appearance to WWE.

During the show, Sarah Schreiber interviewed NXT GM Ava in her office for some words about what had happened to Oba Femi and this new mystery group causing havoc tonight. After some brief comments about what happened, Ava talked about NXT’s upcoming shows only to get interrupted by NXT liaison Arianna Grace showing up. Grace gave her thanks to Ava for letting her be the NXT liaison at TNA and stated there is someone she needs to meet. This led to Marella showing up and him bringing up how he has known about Ava since she was a little girl. Ava responded that Grace and Marella had some ideas and they should have a talk over it as a group.

Jordynne Grace Makes Surprise NXT Return at Vengeance Day 2025

Saturday’s WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025 event also featured Jordynne Grace making her surprise return to WWE’s NXT brand.

Following Giulia defeating Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, and Bayley in a Fatal Four-way match to retain her NXT Women’s Championship, her victory celebration was cut short by Stephanie Vaquer’s music. Vaquer came out with her newly won NXT Women’s North American Championship and after a brief staredown, the two posed with their titles in the ring. This led to Grace’s music playing to interrupt and came out to the ring and stared down both Giulia and Vaquer as the show came to a close.

This was Grace’s first appearance in NXT since this past October.

Ricky Starks NXT Contract Signing Segment & More Announced for Feb. 18th NXT Show

Saturday’s WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025 event also featured two new matches and a one new segment announced for the card of next week’s NXT show on February 18th at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

In regards to the new segment, this was announced to be Ricky Starks making an appearance and signing his official contract with NXT.

In regards to the first new match, this was announced to be a singles match of Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Shawn Spears.

The second new match announced was a NXT Women’s North American Championship #1 Contender Triple Threat match of Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Karmen Petrovic.
