Bayley vs. Cora Jade

Cora misses with the kendo stick before the match starts and the referee calls for the bell to start the match.  Bayley with punches and Cora goes to the floor.  Bayley with chops against the ringside barrier.  Bayley picks up the kendo stick but drops it.  Cora returns to the floor after Bayley sends her back in.  Bayley with a baseball slide inside the ring post.  Bayley sends Cora into the announce table and she gets a near fall.  Bayley gets a near fall while Giulia watches MONITOR in LOCKER ROOM.  

Cora sends Bayley to the mat and connects with a forearm.  Cora with a forearm as Bayley hits the ropes.  Cora with another forearm.  Cora sends Bayley into the ropes but Bayley avoids the forearm to the back.  Bayley with a back elbow to the back and she gets a near fall.  Bayley with a knee and she sets for Rose Plant but Cora escapes and gets a near fall.  Bayley with a kick and Cora goes to the floor.  Bayley with a suicide dive.  Cora sends Bayley into the apron back first and then face first.  Bayley with a forearm and she goes for the cutter in the ropes but Cora blocks it and she drops Bayley on the top rope.  Cora with knees.

Cora gets a near fall.  Cora sends Bayley face first into the mat and she chokes Bayley in the ropes.  Cora with a running back elbow to the back against the ropes and Cora ges a near fall.  Cora with kicks and she chokes Bayley in the corner.   Cora with an Irish whip and Bayley floats over and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Cora with a reverse chin lock.  Bayley with a jaw breaker but Cora sends Bayley into the turnbuckles.  Cora stomps on the back.  Cora with a springboard double stomp to the back.  Cora gets a near fall.  Cora returns to the reverse chin lock.  Bayley escapes and she drops Cora on the top turnbuckle and follows with a cutter in the ropes.  Bayley with forearms.  Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall.  Bayley with clotheslines and she sends Cora into the turnbuckles.  Bayley puts Cora on the middle turnbuckle and Bayley with a double knee drop.  Bayley with a suplex and she gets a near fall.

Bayley goes for the sunset flip power bomb into the turnbuckles but she loses grip and Cora drops down for a near fall.  Cora with a suplex for a near fall.  Cora sends Bayley into the turnbuckles but Bayley counters a knee in the corner into a satellite side slam for a near fall.  

Bayley goes up top and Roxanne comes out in old school Bayley gear and music.  

Bayley with a leg drop off the turnbuckles for a near fall.  

Bayley attacks Perez and Cora with a Future Shock on the floor.  Cora sends Bayley into the ring and hits another Future Shock for the three count.

Winner: Cora Jade via Pinfall.

After the matvh, Ava whispers something into Giulia’s ear.

Ava comes out and she congratulates Cora on the biggest win of her career so far.

Now, all three of you have the chance to walk out of Vengeance Day as the new women’s match.

The title match is now a Fatal Four Way match.

Roxanne wants a hug from Cora but Bayley pushes Perez into Cora and takes care of Perez.

Backstage: Zaria, Sol Ruca, Nikkita Lyons

Sol tells Zaria they won because they did things her way.  Sol mentions that they face Jakara and Lash next week.  They talk about training at the beach and Zaria says they will do it her way.

Nikkita says you two at the beach?  Nikkita says one win does not make you a tag team.  She says Sol is holding Zaria back.

Zaria says Sol is the most athletic and maybe Nikkita should win a match.

Nikkita challenges Zaria to a match.

Backstage: Oba Femi

We see Oba Femi.

Backstage: Ridge Holland

Ridge Holland is in LOCKER ROOM.

In-Ring: Oba Femi, A-Town Down Under

NXT World Champion, Oba Femi makes his way to the ring.

Oba says he will defend his title against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.  He says that is a handicap match because he will be facing Waller and Theory.  They will gang up and try to take out the ruler.  He says their egos will be their greatest downfall.  After everything said and done, there is only one man for this title.

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller’s music interrupts and they make their way to the stage.

Waller tells ObaRated it is too late.  You are about to get in the ring with real stars, but you try to turn them on each other?  Theory says that is pathetic.  You have to face Grayson Waller, who has not received his flowers in NXT.  He has jumped off ladders, has hit elbows through tables, and risked his career all the time.  Carmelo Hayes, Tony D’Angelo, and Bron Breakker get all the credit.  Everyone forgets that Waller was a pillar that shaped NXT into what it is today.  Waller will help Theory win the title on Saturday.

Waller says Theory has wanted to be a WWE superstar.  Waller says he used to ride shotgun and now he can ride shotgun with the new champion.

Oba wants clarification that they will both become the new champion.

Waller says that title means so much to him.  To hear other people’s names because they won the title, it makes him sick.  He will do whatever it takes.

Theory wants to know what does it include?  Theory says he has never won the NXT Title.  He is a US Champion.

Waller jumps in and adds that YOU BEAT JOHN CENA, and no one cares.

Theory says that is a huge accomplishment and he points out that Waller never won a single’s title.  

Waller says you were on the bottom rung at Wrestlemania like a cheerleader while he was grabbing the titles.  You should be thanking him after Wrestlemania 39.

Theory says he will become champion.

Theory and Waller talk about what they are going to do to Oba and then decide who will become the new champion.

Waller says you had a plan and it did not work.  There is nothing and nobody who will stop him from winning that championship.

Theory pushes Waller and Waller pushes back.  Theory tells Waller to punch him and Theory ‘ducks’ and he punches Oba.  Waller and Theory attack Oba.  Waller and Theory with rolling elbows to the front and back.  Theory with A Town Down and then Waller hits a slingshot rolling cutter.

Waller picks up the title belt and Theory takes it from him.  They drop it on Oba and they pose together.

Video: Eddy Thorpe, Trick Williams

Eddy Thorpe says Trick was given opportunity after opportunity.  Eddy says he wanted one opportunity.  He was turned down by Ava and Shawn Michaels.  The people chant your name while they scoff at his.  Eddy says all he seeks is vengeance.  He says he will leave his mark, one way or another.  Eddy challenges Trick to a Strap Match at Vengeance Day.

Video: Ethan Page, Je’Von Evans

We are back with a video package for Je’Von Evans and Ethan Page.

Dr. Cohen says that Evans is recovering on schedule and he is cleared to wrestle.  He says that he has concerns about further injury and extended time out and potential medical disqualification if he suffers a similar injury.

Backstage: Ava, Je’Von Evans

Evans wants to confirm that he is cleared to face Ethan Page.  

Ava reminds Evans about what the doctor said about what can happen.

Ava has Evans sign a hold harmless clause and he signs it without fully reviewing the entire document.

Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Leger) vs. No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne & Tavion Heights) vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura

Inamura and Tank start things off and he connects with chops.  Inamura with a shoulder to Myles and Tank with a leap frog and forearm.  Hank tags in and hits a bulldog.  Tavion tags in and hits a clothesline on Hank.  Tavion floats over and gets Hank up.  Borne tags in and Heights drops Hank onto the knee.  They hit a double suplex for a near fall.  Myles gets on Hanks’ shoudlers and he punches Borne.  Hank drops Borne on the top rope and Tank tags in.  Inamura tags in and he chops Tank and punches Borne.  Josh tags in and kicks Tavion.  Josh with a splash into the corner and he hits on on Tavion.  Josh with dro kicks to Hank and Tavion.  Tank with a cartwheel and a double cross body.  Tank with an Irihs whip and Borne with a boot to Josh and Tank with a spear.  Tavion tags in and Tank sends Borne to the floor.  Tank kicks Tavion and Hank tags in and hits a seated splash.

Hank and Tank set for the collision course but they get pulled to the floor.  Hank and Tank set for Collision Course on Borne on the floor.  Tavion with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Hank for a near fall.  

We see Axiom and Frazer on the HBalKony.

Tavion gets a near fall on Hank.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tank with a jaw breaker to escape Myles.  Tavion keeps Hank from making the tag.  Inamura with a shoulder tackle and clothesline.  Inamura with an Irish whip and a spinning slam.  Inamura with an Irish whip and he sends Myles into the turnbuckles.  Josh and Inamura with splashes.  Josh with a side slam and splash to Tavion.  Hank makes the tag and Myles drop kicks Josh.  Myles with a power slam to Hank.  Tavion with a flying forearm to Tank and Tank lands on Hank.  Tavion gets a near fall.  Tavion and Hank exchange punches.  Hank with a boot and Josh tags in.  Josh wtih a boot to Hank and a boot to Tavoin.  Hank with a kick to Josh and Tavion with a boot to Hank and Josh with a boot to Tavion.

Josh with a boot to Hank and he sets for a choke slam and turns it into a power bomb but Tavion and Myles pull Josh to the floor.  Tank with a suicide dive.  Hank goes up top and hits a splash onto everyone but his partner.  Tank with a wheelbarrow Edge-o-Matic for a near fall.  Hank goes up tpo and Josh with a forearm to stop him.  Josh climbs the turnbuckles but Hank pushes Josh to the mat.  Hank dives over Josh.  Inamura tags in and Josh with a clothesline.  Inamura with a frog splash for the three count.

Winner: Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura via Pinfall.

After the match, Frazer says that is what they were talking about.  Axiom says Briggs is one of the most underrated guys in NXT.  Axiom says they deserve a title match.  Frazer says you wanted it and now you got it.  He says they will see them at Vengeance Day.

Backstage: JDC, Lexis King

JDC walks in the back.

Lexis King also walks.

Backstage: The D’Angelo Family, Izzi Dame

Channing apologizes to Tony for the last few weeks.  He says he knows Tony wants them out there.

Tony says he has to do it alone because it is a cage match.  He says everyone knows that they are good. 

NXT Heritage Cup Championship
JDC vs. Lexis King (c)

They lock up and JDC with a take down.  King with a waist lock take down into a front face lock.  JDC with an arm drag into an arm bar.  JDC with chops.  King with an Irish whip and JDC floats over and gets a near fall with a sunset flip.  King pats himself down and JDC with a rollup for a near fall.  JDC sends King over the top rope to the loor.  JDC with a pescado.  JDC with chops and punches.  They return to the ring but King goes back to the floor.  King with a back drop driver onto the apron.  King with a running knee to the ribs and he punches JDC.  King gets a near fall.  King with a back breaker.  JDC with a chop and Kign with a knee and chop.

King sends JDC into the turnbuckles and he chokes JDC in the corner.  JDC with chops and King with a chop.  King with a knee to the midsection and a kick to the back.  King with a running knee and forearm to the back for a near fall.  King with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner followed by a back breaker for a near fall.  King stretches JDC.  JDC gets to his feet and he tries to reverse the hold but King rolls through to hold on.  King with an Irish whip.  King with a forearm and an Irish whip but he runs into a back elbow.  King avoids a drop kick off the turnbuckles.  JDC with chops.  King with a Maple Leaf.  King stomps on the back and he connects with a forearm to the back of the neck for a near fall.

King with a forearm to the lower back.  JDC with a clothesline.  JDC with clotheslines in the corner followed by a side Russian leg sweep.  JDC with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall.  JDC with a flip dive onto King and he sends King back into the ring.  JDC goes up top and he hits an Alabama Jam for a near fall.  JDC goes up top again and King hits the ropes and it crotches JDC.  King iwth a hanging Coronation for the three count.

Winner: Lexis King via Pinfall to retain the NXT Heritage Cup Championship.

Backstage: Ava, Bayley, Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade

Bayley is with Ava and Roxanne enters to complain about the four way.

Ava says maybe Roxanne should have thought about that.

Perez says she will become a three time champion.

Bayley says Roxanne has never looked better and she calls her an idiiot.

Cora wants to know what Roxanne said and Cora says that she will become the champion on Saturday.

Backstage: Fatal Influence, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, Ashante “Thee” Adonis

Fatal Influence walks int he back and they talk about how Stephanie probably doesn’t have any friends.

Kelani Jordan shows up and says that she wants the next title match if they win.  

Fallon poitns out that she already beat her, but Jordan says she hasn’t faced ‘this version’ of Kelani Jordan.

They talk about maybe Jordan should worry about Jaida.

Jaida says she wants a title match.

Ashante Thee Adonis shows up and says his girl beat both of them so she deserves the next title match.

Nikkita Lyons vs. Zaria

Lyons with a forearm and Zari with a punch.  They go back and forth.  Zaria blocks a kick and she clotheslines Lyons a few times.  Zaria goes for a German suplex but Lyons blocks it and Lyons with a German suplex.  Lyons goes to the turnbuckles but Zaria stops her.  Zaria sets for a power bomb and Lyons counters with a rana.  Lyons kisses a round kick and Zaria with a German suplex.  They get back to their feet and they charge at each other with clotheslines.  Lyons with a round kick for a near fall.  Lyons with a camel clutch and she sits on the back.  Zaria gets to her feet and falls back to the mat to escape the hold.  Lyons with a knee to the head.  Lyons goes up top and she misses a Vader Bomb.  Zaria with a spear followed by a TKO for the three count.

Winner: Zaria via Pinfall.

Video: “All Ego” Ethan Page

Ethan Page says he isn’t surprised that Je’Von Evans is cleared for their match.  He says he leads with his heart but not his head.  He will win many titles in his career.  He says Evans cannot help himself.  He is willing to risk it all to get his hands on Page.  You have a million dollar body and a ten cent brain.  What is about to happen to you is not his fault.  You have a giant bullseye on your jaw.   He isn’t going to break it, he is going to shatter it.  You are looking for vengeance on Saturday, but you will be looking for a new career because Page says he will be ending his.

Ringside: Trick Williams

We are back and Sarah is with Trick Williams on the HBalKony while the cage is constructed.

She asks Trick about the challenge that Eddy Thorpe made.

Trick tells Eddy if he wants the strap match at Vengeance Day, you got it.  You cost him his title and this is how we settle things.  He says he will whoop that ass.

They run through the card for Vengeance Day.

Ringside: Ricky Starks

Ricky Starks makes his way through the bleachers.

He says it is obvious you know who he is.  IF NXT is the future of professional wrestling, you need an absolute superstar of the future.  If this is the hottest brand, you need the hottest free agent.  He says he is here to turn this place upside down.  Everyone has been asking when will the revolution be televised again.  Ricky says that he is here.

Backstage: Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Ridge Holland, D’Angelo Family

Stephanie and Giulia walk in the back.  They wish each other luck on Saturday.  Stephanie says after winning the title on Saturday, there is only one place to go.

Ridge Holland walks in the back.

Tony D’Angelo walks as well, but he has back up.

Backstage: Andre Chase, Kale Dixon, Uriah Connors

Andre Chase walks through LOUNGE and Kale Dixon greets him.  He introduces Uriah Connors to Chase.  Uriah asks Chase to join them. 

Chase says he cannot do anything on a school night.

Connors reminds Chase that Chase U is dead.

Chase says old habits die hard.

Vic Joseph continued to run down the card for this Saturday’s WWE Vengeance Day 2025 show after being interrupted earlier by Ricky Starks.

Ridge Holland vs. Tony D’Angelo (c)

Tony with forearms to Ridge and Ridge punches back and he kicks Tony in the shin and connects with a forearm.  Tony with a back elbow and he tries to send Ridge into the cage but Ridge blocks it.  Tony with punches and Ridge with an Irish whip but Tony with a forearm out of the corner.  Tony wtih punches to the midsection and a suplex for a near fall.  Tony with a front face lock and punches.  Ridge with a knee to the midsection and an uppercut.  Ridge rakes the eyes and he kicks Tony.  Tony with a back drop to send Ridge into the cage.  Tony goes for a flying shoulder to Ridge but Ridge moves and Tony hits the cage.  r

Ridge kicks Tony against the cage.  Ridge with a European uppercut to the back of the head and Tony goes into the cage.  Ridge with another European uppercut to the back of the head and he hits a third one and Tony goes into the cage and then falls to the mat.  Ridge gets a near fall.  Ridge sends Tony into the cage.  Ridge sends Tony into the cage a second time.  Ridge with a forearm.  Ridge with a knee drop.  Ridge gets Tony up to send him into the cage but Tony escapes and Tony with a rollup for a near fall.  Tony with a punch and Ridge with a hot shot.  Ridge with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.  Ridge gets a near fall.

Ridge with cross faces to Tony.  Ridge with a cobra clutch.  Ridge with a shoulder to Tony and he returns to the cobra clutch.  Tony with a jaw breaker but Ridge with a clothesline for a near fall.  Ridge with punches to Tony.  Ridge goes to the turnbuckles but Tony tries to take him back to the mat.  Ridge sends Tony to the mat.  Ridge misses a diving head butt.  Tony sends Ridge into the cage a few times.  Tony wtih a belly-to-belly suplex and a second one.  Tony with a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall.   Tony waits for Ridge to get to his feet and he runs into a boot.  Ridge with a Snow Plow for a near fall.  Tony with a forearm and Ridge fires back.  They continue the exchange.  Ridge with a clothesline and Tony with a kick and a power bomb into the cage.  Tony with a spear for a near fall.

Izzi Dame comes to the other side of the cage from Luca, Channing, and Rizzo.  Izzi has a crowbar and Channing tries to take it from her.  It goes into the cage and Ridge grabs the crowbar and he hits Tony with it many times.  Ridge with a Northern Lariat using the crowbar for a near fall.  Ridge has some words for Tony and Tony rakes the eyes and he hits Ridge with the crowbar and follows with a spinebuster for the three count.

Winner: Tony D’Angelo via Pinfall to retain the NXT North American Championship.

After the match, Ridge attacks Channing  and then Ridge, Channing, and Luca go to the back.

Izzi and Rizzo check on Tony.

Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen, and Niko Vance show up but the cage is closed.

Izzi checks on Tony and then . . . she hits Tony with the crowbar.  

Izzi attacks Rizzo while Spears, Vance, and Jensen enter the cage.

Jensen attacks Tony and then Spears hits Tony with the chair.

Vance gives Tony to Spears and Spears with C4 off the turnbuckles onto the chair while Luca begs for him not to do it.
