WWE NXT Notes: Giuila vs. Vaquer for NXT Women’s & Women’s North American Titles, Moose vs. Oba Femi for NXT Title, and Fraxiom vs. The Hardys for TNA Tag Titles Matches Set for NXT Roadblock, Chelsea Green & Piper Niven Surprise NXT Return, 3/4 Show Card

Giuila vs. Stephanie Vaquer for NXT Women’s vs. NXT Women’s North American Titles Match Announced for NXT Roadblock 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Andrew J. Bradley Center in Cincinnati, Ohio featured the first of three new matches announced for the card of NXT Roadblock 2025.

This new match announced was a NXT Women’s Championship & NXT Women’s North American Championship, Winner Takes All match of Giulia (NXT Women’s) vs. Stephanie Vaquer (NXT Women’s North American).

Following Vaquer’s victory over Karmen Petrovic to retain her NXT Women’s North American Championship, current NXT Women’s Champion Giulia’s music interrupted Vaquer’s celebration and came out to the ring with a microphone. Giulia congratulated Vaquer on her win and stated that Vaquer says she is the best champion, but you are not. Giulia stated that she is.

Vaquer responded back stating that “La Premera” means champion of champions. Giulia responded issuing a challenge to find out wjo the best woman is which led to Vaquer responding back stating they are friends but to make it title for title, champion versus champion. Guilia and Vaquer then held up their respective titles and posed in front of each other.

In a follow-up segment, NXT GM Ava was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber. Ava made several announcements for NXT’s upcoming Roadblock 2025 and confirmed that Giulia and Vaquer will be facing off against each other with both of their titles on the line at the show.


Moose vs. Oba Femi for NXT Title Announced for NXT Roadblock 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the first of two new matches announced for the card of NXT Roadblock 2025.

This new match announced was a NXT Championship match of Moose vs. Oba Femi (c).

This match was initially setup following last week’s WWE NXT show over Moose making his surprise WWE debut appearance and wanting a match with Femi in the future. This was followed by last week’s TNA Impact! show over Femi & Moose’s bad blood issues.

Following Moose’s victory over Lexis King to retain his TNA X-Division Championship, Femi’s music played to interrupt Moose’s celebration and came out to the ring. Femi stated that he knows everyone wants to see them face off against each other and announced that this match will be taking place for his NXT Championship at NXT Roadblock 2025.

Fraxiom vs. The Hardys for TNA Tag Titles Announced for NXT Roadblock 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the second of two new matches announced for the card of NXT Roadblock 2025, which takes place on March 11th at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

This new match announced was a TNA World Tag Team Championship match of Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) vs. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) (c).

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Fraxiom wanting a match with the Hardys and wanting to show they are the current best tag team in the world.

Following The Hardys’ defeating No Quarter Catch Crew in a tag team match, NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom’s music played to interrupt the Hardys’ celebration and came out to the ring. Frazer and Axiom congratulated the Hardys on their victory and welcomed them to NXT. Matt Hardy responded stated that he loves being here in NXT and they are killing it. Frazer responded stating that they are the greatest tag team in the world and they are standing face to face with the greatest tag team of all-time. Jeff Hardy responded stating for them to spare the small talk and make it official to see who is the greatest tag team. This led to TNA Director of Authority coming out to interrupt and announced that at NXT Roadblock, The Hardys will be defending their TNA Tag titles against Fraxiom.

Chelsea Green & Piper Niven Make Surprise NXT Return on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Piper Niven and current WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green making a surprise return appearance to the NXT brand.

During the show, Sol Ruca and Zaria were seen backstage in the trainer’s room talking about Zaria not wanting to do handstands anymore as Ruca was taping up Zaria’s wrist while a NXT trainer looked on. This led to Niven showing up and told everyone to leave since Chelsea is here and people need to move. This led to Green showing up and after some banter between Green & Niven and Ruca & Zaria, Piper agreed to a tag team match for next week’s show while Green was not paying attention.

These matches were setup following promos, storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.
