Cora Jade Added to NXT Women’s Title Match at Vengeance Day 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured one newly updated match announced for the card of WWE Vengeance Day 2025.

This newly updated match was a NXT Women’s Championship Fatal Four-way match of Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez vs. vs. Cora Jade vs. Giulia (c).

This newly updated match was setup following Jade defeating Bayley in a singles match with outside help from Perez. Following the match, NXT General Manager Ava was briefly seen with Giulia backstage and whispered something to her ear before walking away. Ava then walked out to the stage and announced that as a result of Jade’s victory, the NXT Women’s title match at Vengeance Day 2025 will now be a Fatal Four-way match.


Eddy Thorpe vs. Trick Williams in Strap Match Announced for WWE Vengeance Day 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the first of two new matches announced for the card of WWE Vengeance Day 2025.

This new match is a Strap match of Eddy Thorpe vs. Trick Williams.

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows and Thorpe using a strap for his ambush attack on Williams during last week’s show. During tonight’s show, a video aired featuring Thorpe talking about his bad blood issues with Williams and issued an official challenge for a Strap match at Vengeance Day 2025.

In a follow-up segment, Trick Williams was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber about Thorpe’s challenge to him and Ava making it official if that is what Williams wants. Williams responded accepting the challenge.


Je’Von Evans Medically Cleared & Match with Ethan Page for WWE Vengeance Day 2025 Made Official

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Je’Von Evans being officially medically cleared and his match against “All Ego” Ethan Page being made official for the card of WWE Vengeance Day 2025.

This match was initially setup following last week’s show over NXT GM Ava agreeing to allow a match between Evans and Page to take place at Vengeance Day 2025 on the condition that Evans would be medically cleared in time.

During tonight’s show, a video aired featured a WWE doctor providing a medical update on Evans’ jaw injury and announced that he has cleared Evans to compete at this Saturday’s event but also gave his serious concerns about further injury and extended time out if Evans gets hurt again.

In a follow-up segment, Evans was seen with NXT GM Ava in her office and told Ava to make the match official. Ava responded stating her worries about it but then made Evans sign a hold harmless contract that absolves WWE of any legal issues if he gets hurt again.


Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura vs. Fraxiom for NXT Tag Titles Set for WWE Vengeance Day 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the second of two new matches announced for the card of WWE Vengeance Day 2025, which takes place on February 15th at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC.

This new match announced was a NXT Tag Team Championship match of Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura vs. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) (c).

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Briggs & Inamura trying to get a NXT Tag titles match against Fraxiom. During tonight’s show, Briggs & Inamura defeated No Quarter Catch Crew and Hank & Tank in a Triple Threat tag team match. Following their victory, Fraxiom interrupted Briggs & Inamura’s celebration and after some praise of Briggs & Inamura, Fraxiom announced that if they wanted a shot at their titles then they just got one for Vengeance Day.
