WWE Provides Medical Update on Sami Zayn Following Kevin Owens Package Piledriver Attack on Feb. 3rd WWE RAW Show
As noted before, this past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Cleveland, Ohio featured Kevin Owens sneak attacking Sami Zayn and hit a Package Piledriver to him to close out the close. Following the show, Zayn was attended to by WWE officials and medics and was stretchered out to the back.
During Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Memphis, Tennessee, Smackdown announcer Joe Tessitore provided a medical update stating that Zayn is currently out of action indefinitely and he had suffered spinal compression and extreme nerve damage after Owens’ attack on him.

Cody Rhodes “Multiple Injuries” Situation Following WWE Royal Rumble 2025 – Rhodes Gives Medical Update on Friday’s SmackDown Show
As noted before, WWE had announced that Cody Rhodes was dealing with “multiple injuries” following his Ladder match against Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Championship at last Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2025 event.
During Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Memphis, Rhodes provided a medical update during his in-ring promo segment with Jey Uso.
Rhodes stated that his doctor had informed him that he had a hip out of alignment and fluid built up in his elbow and some other medical-related issues that he did not pay attention. Despite his current injury situation, Rhodes stated that he had to go to WrestleMania and win to feel complete for his title reign.
WWE Reportedly Considering International Location for Money in the Bank 2025
WWE reportedly is currently considering plans for this year’s Money in the Bank event to take place in an international location, according to WrestleVotes Radio.
It was reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have recently held talks regarding this year’s Money in the Bank event to take place in early July in an international location.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that WWE officials have yet to make any official decision regarding the host location plans for this year’s event.
If it were to happen, this would be the third year that WWE would hold a Money in the Bank event outside of the United States, following London, England in 2023 and Toronto, Canada in 2024.
