Joey Janela Ruptured Biceps Injury & Surgery Update – Janela Says Injury “Decimated” His Dominant Arm

As noted before, former AEW and current Game Changer Wrestling and indies talent Joey Janela has been dealing with a ruptured biceps injury since this past January and underwent surgery on Monday to repair it.

Janela recently provided an update on Instagram stating that he underwent surgery due to the “complete decimation” of his dominate arm over his ruptured biceps injury.

“I’ve been going hard for the past 6 years nonstop, no major injuries since my knee besides a few hiccups, but that streak has finally come to an unexpected end as I had major surgery today after the complete Decimation of my dominant arm.

Worst part is Coming to grasp some facts that unfortunately some major plans in my life & career will have to come to a halt but no one works harder when these situations happen.

Thanks to @wcwcrowbar again as always, as he not only will rehab me again in no time but also helped me arrange surgery. He’s one of the very best dudes in a business full of weirdos, in the coming months I’ll be putting out lots of merch and different Ways to make income so I can completely 100% dedicate myself to rehab so id appreciate all the support.

Thanks everyone I’ll see you soon, especially @Atticus_Cogar

Raj Dhesi on Future of His Wrestling Career & Not Being in Any Official Contact with AEW

Monopoly Events held a recent interview with Raj Dhesi, former Jinder Mahal in WWE. One of the topics discussed included Dhesi’s thoughts about if he is interested in signing with a major company for the future of his wrestling career.

“As far as signing with another major promotion, everything would have to be right. Storyline, business would have to make sense because I’m in a great spot. I had a great career in WWE. I’m happy with everything I accomplished. And if that’s everything that I ever do, I’m more than satisfied, more than happy with it. I’m into business outside of WWE, I just filmed a movie last week. Yeah, I’m just excited to have the freedom and I just do whatever makes me happy.”

Dhesi also gave his thoughts about if AEW has reached out to him for a potential contract.

“AEW, not at an official level. Nobody has on a really official level. Myself, at this time, I’m just enjoying myself. I was under contract for so many years, and the WWE schedule right now, I wish we would have had this schedule now with less emphasis on live events because we were worked pretty heavily. Our schedules were quite intense with live events in the United States, North America, then coming overseas quite a bit, all over the world. As far as signing with another major promotion, everything would have to be right. Storyline, business would have to make sense. Everything would have to make sense. I’m in a great spot. I had a great career in WWE and I’m happy with everything I have accomplished. If that is everything that I ever do, I am more than satisfied and happy with it. I’m into business outside of WWE. I just filmed a movie last week. I’m just excited to have freedom and I do whatever makes me happy.”
