Two New Matches Announced for Feb. 22nd AEW Collision Show

AEW announced one new match and one updated match for the card of this Saturday’s AEW Collision show.

This upcoming show was taped on Wednesday, February 19th in Phoenix, Arizona following AEW’s Dynamite show.

In regards to the new match, this was announced to be a tag team match of Murder Machines (Lance Archer & Brian Cage) vs. mystery opponents.

In regards to the newly update match, this was announced to be a singles match of Gabe Kidd vs. The Butcher.

  • AEW World Trios Championship – Daniel Garcia & 2.0 (“Cool Hand Ang” Angelo Parker & “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard) vs. Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, & PAC) (c)

Mistico Appearance Announced for March 1st AEW & ROH Tapings in Oakland

AEW announced that CMLL talent Mistico will be making an appearance for the company at their upcoming set of AEW Collision and Ring of Honor ROH TV tapings on March 1st at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, California.

This will be Mistico’s first appearance for AEW since the November 30th AEW Collision show.


Skye Blue Broken Ankle Injury & Killswitch Double Pneumonia Updates

As noted before, Skye Blue has been out of action from AEW since this past July due to a broken ankle injury while Killswitch has been out of action since this past September due to a double pneumonia illness.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources denied the recent online rumors and reports of Blue and Killswitch being medically cleared and are expected to be returning soon.

Johnson reported that Blue was in attendance backstage at AEW’s Grand Slam Australia show in Brisbane, Australia.
