AEW held a new television tapings for AEW Dynamite on Tuesday at the H-E-B Center in Cedar, Texas.
This taping will be for the Wednesday, February 12th episode.
The reason for the taping is due to travel and logistics reasons over AEW traveling to Australia this week for this Saturday’s AEW Collision Grand Slam: Australia show in Brisbane.
Full results from AEW Dynamite tapings on February 11th:
- Max Caster Open Challenge Series match – Hangman Adam Page defeated Max Caster. Prior to the start of the match, Caster came out to the ring and talked about his open challenge series which led to Page coming out to answer the challenge.
- AEW World Trios Championship – Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, & PAC) (c) defeated Undisputed Kingdom (Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, & Adam Cole). Following the match, the Death Riders attacked Undisputed Kingdom leading to Daniel Garcia & 2.0 (Angelo Parker & Matt Menard) running out for the save and cleared the ring of the Death Riders.
- MJF was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette that involved MJF mocking Dustin Rhodes and Texas. This led to Hangman Adam Page showing up to interrupt and demanded MJF leave. MJF responded back with a series of insults and MJF claiming that unlike Page, he will become a two time AEW World Champion. MJF then left while Page looked on pissed at what MJF said to him.
- Samoa Joe. HOOK, & Katsuyori Shibata defeated Jon Cruz, Aaron Solo, & Grillo. Following the match, Samoa Joe grabbed a microphone and stated that they will hunt everyone who messes with them down the streets and in the ring. Joe then called out the Patriarchy and issued a Trios challenge with the winners getting a shot at the AEW World Trios Championship.
- Chris Jericho challenged Bandido to meet him in the ring for a “showdown.” This led to Bandido coming out and engaged in a classic Western shoot out that ended with the Learning Tree’s Big Bill & Bryan Keith running out to attack Bandido and The Outrunners & Powerhouse Hobbs running out for the save. Big Bill & Hobbs brawled that ended with Hobbs laying out Bill with a big spinebuster.
- Cope and Jay White attacked Jon Moxley backstage and stole the briefcase that holds Moxley’s AEW World Championship belt.
- Dustin Rhodes gave a backstage interview ahead of his match against MJF.
- MJF defeated Dustin Rhodes by referee stoppage via crossface. MJF attempted to attack Rhodes afterwards leading to Hangman Adam Page running out and the two brawled as AEW officials rushed out trying to break it up multiple times until finally succeeding.
- MJF returned to the ring and proceeded to insult Page after he had been dragged away by AEW officials. This led to Page rushing out and brawled with MJF again as AEW officials and security kept trying to break it.
- Swerve Strickland & Prince Nana were interviewed backstage about Ricochet’s recent victory and their issues with him. Nana was upset over everything Ricochet has done but wanted Strickland to focus on getting back to the World title. Strickland responded stating he will be has to take care of this first. This led to Nana walking away upset.
- Megan Bayne defeated Maya World. Following the match, Bayne was leaving to the back as Kris Statlander came out for her match next. This led to Bayne and Statlander engaging in a brief staredown in the aisle before the two went their separate ways.
- Kris Statlander defeated Penelope Ford. Following the match, Statlander was making her way to the back before Bayne showed up and laid her out with an F-5.
- Renee Paquette attempted to interview Willow Nightingale backstage that was interrupted by Marina Shafir attacking Nightingale and Jon Moxley showing up to take over the interview. Moxley called out Cope and White stating that they were dead men walking.
- A Harley Cameron video promo aired.
- AEW World Tag Team Championship – The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley) (c) defeated The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn). Following the match, the Murder Machines (Lance Archer & Brian Cage) came out to the stage and stared down the Hurt Syndicate.
- Cope and Jay White came out to the ring with the briefcase they had stole from Jon Moxley earlier. Cope then went under the ring and pulled out his “old friend Spike.” Cope then stated that if Moxley doesn’t accept his challenge for an AEW World title match at Revolution 2025, then he going to destroy the case and take the title.
