Adam Copeland Issues Challenge to Jon Moxley for AEW World Title Match at AEW Revolution 2025

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured one potential new match for the card of AEW Revolution 2025, which takes place on March 9th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

This new potential match is an AEW World Championship match of Adam “Cope” Copeland vs. Jon Moxley (c).

This new potential match was setup following a backstage promo segment involving Cope talking about his bad blood issues with Moxley and the Death Riders. Cope then issued a challange to Moxley for his AEW World title at Revolution 2025.


RUSH & Dralistico Makes Surprise Returns at Saturday’s AEW Collision Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured La Faccion Ingobernable’s RUSH and Dralistico making their surprise returns to AEW.

During the show, The Beast Mortos made quick work in his match against a jobber leading to his post-match victory celebration being cut short by Max Caster who wanted to start his new Open Challenge Series. This led to RUSH’s music playing and him officially answering the challenge. RUSH came out with Dralistico alongside him.

After quickly dispatching Caster, RUSH grabbed a microphone and berated Mortos askign what is wrong with him and to remeber they are all family before LFI all left the ring.

This was RUSH’s first appearance and match and Dralistico’s first appearance in AEW since this past November due to backstage heat issues following an incident involving both of them during a match for AEW Rampage.


Bandido Makes Surprise Injury Return at Saturday’s AEW Collision Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured Bandido making his surprise return from injury.

Following The Learning Tree’s Chris Jericho & Bryan Keith’s victory over The Outrunners, Big Bill attacked The Outrunners leading to Jericho and Keith joining in. This led to Bandido’s music and him coming out to the ring to save The Outrunners and laid out the Learning Tree.

This was Bandido’s first appearance since this past December’s ROH Final Battle 2024 event due to a concussion injury.


New Hologram Return Vignette Airs on Saturday’s AEW Collision Show

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured a new video hyping up Hologram’s upcoming return to AEW.

Hologram has been out of action for AEW since this past October due to an ankle injury and for paternity-related reasons over his wife’s birth of a new child for their family.


Current Cards for Next Week’s AEW Dynamite & Collision Shows

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured several new matches announced for the cards of next week’s AEW Dynamite show on February 5th at the Gateway Center Arena at College Park in College Park, Georgia and AEW Collision show on February 8th at the Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas.

In regards to Dynamite, three new matches were announced which were:

  • International All-Star Tag Team match – Hounds of Hell (Buddy Matthews & Brody King) vs. Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher)
  • “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Queen Aminata
  • Will Ospreay vs. mystery member of Don Callis Family

Current cared for Feb. 5th AEW Dynamite show:

  • International All-Star Tag Team match – Hounds of Hell (Buddy Matthews & Brody King) vs. Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher)
  • “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Queen Aminata
  • Ricochet vs. Swerve Strickland

In regards to Collision, two new matches were announced which were:

  • Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe
  • Penelope Ford vs. Thunder Rosa
