AEW Collision Grand Slam Australia Taping Spoilers

AEW held a new television tapings for AEW Collision on Saturday at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia.

This taping will be for this week’s Grand Slam Australia themed Collision episode that will air later tonight on TNT immediately following the conclusion of the NBA All-Star Saturday festivities.

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, one championship changed hands. This was “Timeless” Toni Storm defeating “The Glamour” Mariah May to become the new AEW Women’s World Champion.

Other notable moments from the tapings included two new potential matches for the card of next month’s AEW Revolution 2025 event at the Cyrpto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

The first new potential match is an AEW International Championship match of Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita (c). The second new potential match is a Steel Cage match of Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher. Both new potential matches were setup following the Omega & Ospreay vs. Don Callis Family tag team match on the show.

  • Will Ospreay & Kenny Omega defeated the Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher)
  • TBS Championship – Mercedes Mone (c) defeated Harley Cameron
  • Brisbane Brawl match – Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli & Jon Moxley) defeated Jay White & Cope. During the match, the Death Riders’ Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta interfered to help out Castagnoli & Moxley.
  • A video aired featuring Will Ospreay issuing a challenge to Kyle Fletcher for a Steel Cage match and Kenny Omega issuing a challenge to Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship at Revolution 2025.
  • AEW Continental Championship – Kazuchika Okada (c) defeated Buddy Matthews
  • An announcement was made stating that AEW would be returning to Australia in 2026.
  • AEW Women’s World Championship – “Timeless” Toni Storm defeated “The Glamour” Mariah May (c)
