Rob Fee Comments on “WWE Raw On Netflix Is Only Going To Get More Addicting From Here”
This past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Inglewood, California was notable for being RAW’s official premiere show on Netflix.
Netflix’s official website held a recent interview with WWE Director of Character Development Rob Fee. One of the topics discussed included Fee’s thoughts about WWE RAW’s move to Netflix and the future of the show on the service.
“There were huge moments. “John Cena announcing he’s going to be in the Royal Rumble. Logan Paul saying he’s a full-time WWE Superstar now. Roman Reigns is getting all the power back — where does that leave him? So many big things are happening now and on the way. It really feels like it’s going to be appointment TV for the world, which is unbelievable. I think it’s a complete game-changer. Over the next several weeks, months, and years, you’re going to see stories from the beginning — how they start building, how these relationships play out, how superstars interact, and you’ll get invested in these stories. The nuance is captivating [and] there’s so much attention to detail. If you enjoyed tonight, you’re in for a treat, because it’s only going to get more addicting from here.”

Triple H Comments on “WWE Will Push The Envelope Here And There On Netflix, But It’s Family-Friendly Programming”
A recent episode of Sports Illustrated’s SI Media with Jimmy Traina podcast featured WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Levesque’s thoughts about if WWE will push the envelope more with their programming on Netflix due to Netflix having less restrictions than USA Network for show content.
“This will be family-friendly programming, just like it’s always been. PG programming. The whole, ‘I need somebody to swear in a movie to make the movie good,’ I get it, there are certain genres of things that need that. All of that is given way more importance. It’s a rating and brand that makes you feel a certain way, so people get excited about that. We want to be very conscious about making this where you’re not on there watching with your kid and being like, ‘I shouldn’t be exposing him to this.’ Are we going to push the envelope here and there? Sure, but nothing that is going to turn you off as a viewer.”

Johnson reported that it is currently not known when WWE’s NXT show will air in that market nor is it something of any priority for the network due to the severity and greater importance of providing emergency news coverage for the fires.
WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque recently released the official poster for WWE’s next Saturday Night’s Main Event show on January 25th in San Antonio, Texas.
Wednesday’s WWE Speed show on Twitter featured Natalya vs. Candice LeRae going to a 5-minute time limit draw for their WWE Women’s Speed Championship match. As a result, LeRae managed to retain the title due to the title can not officially change hands with a draw.
As noted before, former AEW talent Penta El Zero Miedo is currently expected to make his official debut in WWE at next week’s WWE RAW show on January 13th in San Jose, California. TheCubsFan reported that WWE would not be able to use the ring name of Pentagon Jr., Penta Zero M, Penta 0M, and Cero Meido for Penta due to Lucha Libre AAA currently owns the trademarks for them in Mexico. It was reported that no one technically owns the Penta el Zero M trademark in Mexico and a filing Penta made in 2017 has yet to be approved. In regards to the U.S., it was reported that Pentagon Jr. is owned by Lucha Underground while Penta el Zero M is owned by a Lucha Bros holding company.
In a recent interview with the We Got Time Today show, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella gave her thoughts about the potential of The Bella Twins returning to WWE in the future. Bella stated “We’ll see. The wrestling ring has always been our home, and I think that’s the hard thing about getting older, is that there’s that person inside you who, it’s like, ‘I would do anything to go back ten years to compete in the ring against the women today. But it’s time and age. There’s a funny thing to that. So we always want to compete. Every time I watch wrestling, I get fired up. [Nikki] and I would like, ‘Oh, this promo we should cut,’ but we’re like, wait, we’re not even in the business. But you know, you still are always there. So any time if WWE calls and is like, ‘Hey, ladies, we want you back,’ it’s always hard to say no.” (Transcript h/t: Fightul.com)
In a recent episode of the Hall of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore podcast, WWE Hall of Famer and co-host Booker T gave his thoughts about the benefits of weekly three-hour wrestling shows in WWE from a talent perspective. Booker T stated “I think the three hour show works from a talent perspective because we as the boys, we want to get on the show. So, that extra hour, I mean if you guys don’t like it, that’s one thing but for me, I’m thinking about the check [laughs]. I’m thinking about getting paid, I’m thinking about air time is worth it, way to go. From the boy’s perspective, I totally see it. If it could be written out properly, I don’t see a problem with having a three hour show. I think the fans will tune in, they’ve been doing it for quite some time, I think fans finally got used to the three hour show. So yeah, I’m all in, I like it.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
In a recent interview with Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo, WWE Hall of Famer Sean “X-PAC” Waltman stated that he was diagnosed with diverticulitis last year. Waltman stated “I won’t beat around the bush, no. Then, watch, next thing you know I show up at Rumble or something. No, I was just trying to get in better shape. Earlier last year, I was in the hospital for eight days with diverticulitis. It almost killed me. I lost a bunch of weight, like thirty pounds. After that, I decided I was going to take everything a little more serious and get off my ass. I’ve been training every day and shit.” Waltman also stated that he is currently doing well health-wise. Waltman stated “I’m doing great. (The recovery) was tough. It took a while to feel better. Now, I’m feeling good. It came back a little bit, but as soon as I noticed it, I was in the hospital right away. All that to say, I’m doing great now, but I had a rough time.” Waltman also stated that Kenny Omega had helped him with his bout with diverticulitis. Waltman stated “He helped me with it. I was in the hospital texting with him and he’s telling me what’s going on and what I should expect.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
