New Penta Teaser Video Airs on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California featured WWE airing a new video teasing former AEW talent Penta El Zero Miedo’s upcoming official debut in the company.

During the show, a new video featuring the same crossed out zero shown that led to another drawing of Penta’s mask. This new video ended with the words Penta inside the drawing revealing Penta’s new ring name to be “Penta” in WWE.

In a follow-up segment, RAW GM Adam Pearce was seen backstage talking to Bayley. After Bayley left, Cathy Kelly attempted to get some words from Pearce before he was interrupted by Chad Gable and American Made. After some words by Gable about what people can expect from American Made on Netflix, Gable stated that he wants to face the best luchador next week. Pearce responded back stating that he has the perfect luchador in mind and asked Gable if he was sure about it. Gable responded back stating that he’s never been unsure of anything and Pearce responded stating that he has a phone call to make.

John Cena Kicks Off His Farewell Tour & Officially Declares for Men’s Royal Rumble on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix also featured John Cena officially starting his farewell tour for his wrestling career.

During the show, Cena came out to the ring and gave some words talking about RAW being on Netflix and how Los Angeles has a special place in his heart for his wrestling career

Cena talked about what this year is all about and who will he face at WrestleMania for his final Mania match. Cena then talked about if he will become a 17 time world champion. Cena stated that he has to be honest and he doesn’t see it happening. Cena then stated that it has been 2,446 days since he won his last match and he is at peace with that. Cena then stated that his time was up and it was their time now, in reference to Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, Logan Paul, and Cody Rhodes.

After some more words, Cena stated that he forgot where he was and there are some rules like you are not supposed to say never say never. Cena then stated that there is a chance but he has a better chance at winning an Oscar, which led to some laughs in the crowd. Cena stated that he can not just waltz into the main event, he would have to win Money in the Bank or win the Elimination Chamber. Cena then talked about maybe he can win the Royal Rumble and started to get fired up and officially declared himself for this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble and claimed he is going to win it.

Following his segment, WWE officially confirmed that Cena will be competing in this year’s Royal Rumble match.

Rhea Ripley Wins WWE Women’s World Title on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix also featured Rhea Ripley defeating Liv Morgan to become the new WWE Women’s World Champion.

This was Ripley’s second WWE Women’s World Championship victory in her WWE career.

The Undertaker Makes Surprise Appearance on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix also featured WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker making a surprise appearance.

Following Rhea Ripley’s victory for the WWE Women’s World Championship, Ripley celebrated and made her way to the stage. Before Ripley could leave, The Undertaker’s theme played and he came out as his “American Badass” persona riding a motorcycle.

The Undertaker drove around around the ring and right back to the stage where Ripley was waiting. The Undertaker then gave a fist bump to Ripley before leaving.

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix also featured four new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on January 13th in San Jose, California.

These matches were all setup following promos , storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.
