WWE RAW’s Official Premiere Show on Netflix

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California was notable for being the official RAW premiere show on Netflix.

The show kicked off with a cold open video narrated by WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque talking about the history of wrestling and WWE throughout the decades leading to tonight’s debut on Netflix.

RAW’s move to Netflix was part of WWE’s recent new ten-year media rights deal with the streaming service.


Michael Cole & Pat McAfee WWE RAW Commentary Team Return

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix also featured Pat McAfee making his official return to WWE commentary.

McAfee and Michael Cole will be WWE’s new commentary team for their RAW brand going forward on Netflix.

This was McAfee’s first appearance in WWE since this past December’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show and his first appearance on RAW since August of 2024.


The Rock Makes WWE Return at Monday’s WWE RAW Netflix Premiere Show

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix also featured Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson making a return appearance to WWE.

During the show, The Rock came out and after some words talking about how he used to travel on the highways with his late father WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson to watch WWE shows, The Rock talked about how everyone around the world is now watching it on Netflix.

The Rock then proceeded to state that tonight’s show in the Intuit Dome broke the all-time record for largest gate arena in the history of WWE.

The Rock then did his usual “Finally The Rock has come back to …” catchphrase and then stated that he wants to acknowledged a few people and gave a shout out to the Netflix executives in the nose bleed section in the crowd. The Rock also gave his praise of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes who he pointed out at ringside. The Rock then stated “Tell Mama Rhodes. The Rock says hello.”

The Rock then talked about his cousin Roman Reigns and how he is the original Tribal Chief. The Rock stated that he and the world will be watching and he will be watching as a High Chief who carries that title with pride and respect. The Rock then did his usual “If You Smell” routine before pausing to take in the crowds cheers and finished it. The Rock then left the ring.


Alicia Taylor Makes WWE RAW Ring Announcer Debut

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix also featured SmackDown brand ring announcer Alicia Taylor making her official debut as RAW’s new ring announcer.

Taylor’s move is part of recent changes made by WWE for their SmackDown 3-hour premiere show and RAW’s upcoming premiere show on Netflix.


WWE Debuts New Sponsored Ring Mat on WWE RAW Netflix Premiere Show

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix also featured WWE officially debuting a new sponsored ring mat for their RAW brand.

This new ring mat was identical to the one they tested out prior to the start of this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Phoenix, Arizona.

This new all-black ring mat features the Fortnite logo as the main logo in the center and surrounded by logos for Riyadh Season, Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer, Cricket Wireless, Netflix, and Snickers.


Roman Reigns Defeats Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat Match & Regains the Ula Fala

Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show also featured Roman Reigns defeating Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match to become the official real owner of The Bloodline’s ula fala.

Following the match, Reigns’ victory celebration was cut short by The Rock who came out to the ring and confronted Paul Heyman who was holding the ula fala. The Rock asked for Heyman to hand over the ula fala, which he did, and then presented it to Reigns. The Rock then put the ula fala over Reigns’ head and stood by in the corner as Reigns finished his victory celebration.
