Austin Theory vs. Grayson Waller vs. Oba Femi for NXT Title Announced for Vengeance Day 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia featured the first of three new matches announced for the card of Vengeance Day 2025.

This new match announced was a NXT Championship Triple Threat match of Austin Theory vs. Grayson Waller vs. Oba Femi (c).

This match was setup following a Grayson Waller Effect talk show segment involving A-Town Down Under and Femi. A-Town Down Under and Femi engaged in insults-filled banter revolving around Femi mocking A-Town Down Under for their lack of titles success in WWE and him claiming he’s done more in NXT in two years than they did combined and A-Town Down Under mocking Femi for his success not being comparable to their big leagues success.

This led to an upset Femi issuing a challenge for his NXT Championship at Vengeance Day to either Waller or Theory. Before Femi could get an answer, NXT GM Ava came out to interrupt and told Femi that he doesn’t get to be the one to make matches around here. Before Ava could say anything else, Trick Williams’ music interrupted and came out and stated that title match is his. This led to a confrontation between Williams and Femi that ended with Williams clearing the ring of A-Town Down Under and Femi laying out Williams with the Fall from Grace powerbomb.

In a follow-up segment, Ava was seen in her office backstage reacting to Williams’ actions after his disqualification loss to Wes Lee. Femi walked in and demanded to know who he was facing at Vengeance Day, which led to Ava saying Waller’s name. Before she could finish, Femi interrupted her and tried to walk away thinking he was only facing Waller. Ava responded back telling Femi that he isn’t just facing Waller but also Theory in a Triple Threat match for his title.

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Fallon Henley for NXT Women’s North American Title Announced for Vengeance Day 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the second of three new matches announced for the card of Vengeance Day 2025.

This new match announced was a NXT Women’s North American Championship match of Stephanie Vaquer vs. Fallon Henley (c).

This new match was initially setup following Vaquer’s bad blood issues with Henley and Fatal Influence over them initially costing her a shot at the NXT Women’s North American title. Vaquer later issued a challenge to the winner of Shotzi vs. Henley for the title.

During tonight’s show, Henley defeated Shotzi to retain her NXT Women’s North American title only to have her victory celebration be cut short by Vaquer’s music and her coming out to the stage. This led to the two engaging in a face-to-face confrontation and the official announcement of this match taking place at Vengeance Day 2025.

Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia for NXT Women’s Title Announced for Vengeance Day 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the third of three new matches announced for the card of Vengeance Day 2025, which takes place on February 15th at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC.

This new match announced was a NXT Women’s Championship Triple Threat match of Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia (c).

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Bayley and Perez’s bad blood issues with each other. Following Bayley & Giulia’s tag team victory over Perez & Cora Jade, Ava was seen backstage later in the show and was about to announce who would face Giulia for her NXT Women’s title at Vengeance Day 2025. This led to Perez and Jade showing up to interrupt and after some bickering by Perez, Ava revealed that it would be her and Bayley facing off against Giulia for the title. This led to an upset reaction by Jade who stormed off from Perez over Perez blaming her for their loss earlier and not caring about Jade not being included in the match.

Mystery Video Airs on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the airing of a mystery video teasing a new mystery person showing up at WWE’s Vengeance Day 2025 event next month.

Following Bianca Belair & Naomi’a victory over Meta-Four’s Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, the show displayed the end credits and apepared to go to a close. This led to an end of transmission video airing that quickly had its text change from “WWE Transmission” to “Vengeance Day” as the show went to close for real.
