Chad Gable, Bron Breakker, & Carmelo Hayes Declares for Men’s Royal Rumble

As noted before, Monday’s WWE RAW show in Atlanta also featured Logan Paul and Penta officially declaring themselves for the Men’s Royal Rumble match at this year’s Royal Rumble event on February 1st in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Besides Paul and Penta, Chad Gable, Bron Breakker, and Carmelo Hayes also had officially declared themselves for the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Gable and Breakker declared themselves during the show and international exclusive commercial break segments on Netflix while Hayes declared himself during a post-show promo and match with Cody Rhodes.

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez Reportedly Set to Get Major Tag Team Push

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez reportedly are currently expected to receive a big push as a tag team, according to PWInsider.

Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials have recently had a lot of talks regarding plans to give Morgan and Rodriguez a big push as a tag team leading into WrestleMania 41.

Johnson reported that this likely could include Morgan and Rodriguez getting a title run as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at some point.

WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque recently announced that “Von Dutch” by Charli XCX is the official theme song for this year’s Royal Rumble event.

As noted before, AJ Styles has been out of action for WWE since this past October due to a mid foot ligament sprain injury. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials are currently hopeful that Styles will be able to be medically cleared for an in-ring return in time for their Royal Rumble 2025 event. Johnson reported that Styles is currently expected to be in Indianapolis, Indiana, host city of Royal Rumble, on Saturday.

Major League Soccer announced that they have recently signed an extension deal with IMG for their MLS Productions studio. It was also announced that as part of this new deal, they will also be partnering with WWE to use their The Studios at WWE in Stamford, Connecticut for their English and Spanish broadcasts on MLS Season Pass for the upcoming new MLS season.

In a recent interview with Brandon Jones, head writer and showrunner Jeff Trammell announced that Big E is among the cast for the upcoming new animated televisions series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman for Disney+.

This past Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in San Antonio, Texas featured Rhea Ripley defeating Nia Jax to retain her WWE Women’s World Championship. Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan reported that his sources stated that Ripley had a non-serious injury scare moment during her match. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Ripley “had the wind knocked out of her” but she was okay afterwards and was able to finish the match. Ripley reportedly was also feeling fine enough for the filming of a digital exclusive backstage video as well.

WWE recently released three new videos to their WWE Vault channel on YouTube. The first new video was a “30 minutes of classic Royal Rumble promos.” The second new video was the full WWE Royal Rumble 2009 event. The third new video was a singles match of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat vs. Rick Rude from WWE Royal Rumble 1988.
