Ryan Nemeth Claims of “Silent Firing” from AEW Over 2023 CM Punk Incident & AEW Did Nothing About Punk’s Harassment Towards Him Update – Nemeth Says His Situation is Not Resolved

As noted before, former AEW talent Ryan Nemeth was involved in a backstage confrontation with CM Punk in June of 2023 revolving around a tweet by Nemeth calling Punk the “softest man alive.” Nemeth’s comments was in response to Punk’s unscripted promo directed at Hangman Adam Page on a Collision show following Punk’s return from his suspension from the All Out 2022 backstage brawl incident.

Nemeth revealed this past December that he had filed a formal complaint to AEW against Punk and claimed that his allegations of harassment and other incidents towards him by Punk went unaddressed by AEW management. Nemeth also had claimed that he was “silently fired” by AEW over his issues with Punk in the company.

A recent episode of BodySlam.net’s WrestleMobs podcast featured Nemeth as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Nemeth claiming that his complaint situation has yet to still be resolved by AEW.

“That will probably be going on for as long as things take to go on for. It is by no means resolved in any way at all, but I hope it will be someday. I’m very confident that it will be.”
