Women’s Tag Elimination Match Announced for NJPW Battle in the Valley 2025
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced one new match for the card of their Battle in the Valley 2025 event, which takes place on January 11th at the San Jose Civic in San Jose, California.
This new match announced was a Eight-Women’s Tag Team Elimination match of Viva Van, Hanako, Maika, & Mina Shirakawa vs. Johnnie Robbie, AZM, Trish Adora, & Anna Jay.

NJPW Announced First Set of Final Road To Matches for Hiroshi Tanahashi
New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced the first set of matches for Hiroshi Tanahashi’s final Road To matches in Japan as part of his current retirement tour.
All of the first set of matches announced were for NJPW’s upcoming Road To The New Beginning 2025 tour.
- January 19th – Tanahashi, Boltin Oleg, Toru Yano, & Yuji Nagata vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Yujiro Takahashi, Ren Narita and SHO
- January 22th – Tanahashi vs. Shoma Kato
- January 23th – Tanahashi vs. Katsuya Murashima
- February 3rd – Tanahashi vs. Daiki Nagai
- February 4th – Tanahashi & Katsuya Murashima vs. Shoma Kato & Togi Makabe

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s official website held a recent interview with Zack Sabre Jr. One of the topics discussed included Sabre Jr.’s thoughts about this past year being the best year in his wrestling career and his belief that he had the best year out of any wrestler in the world.
