New WWE “Stephanie’s Places” Series Announced for ESPN+

As noted before, WWE is currently working on a new project involving former WWE co-CEO Stephanie McMahon.

Thursday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured McMahon as a guest. One of the topics discussed included McMahon confirming that she is currently working on a new television series called “Stephanie’s Places” for ESPN’s ESPN+ streaming service.

McMahon stated:

“In partnership with Omaha Productions, ESPN, and WWE, it is part of Peyton’s Places show and it is called Stephanie’s Places. I’m going all over the country and hopefully the world to really find out the stories behind the biggest stars in WWE.”

McMahon also gave her thoughts about what is the goal for her upcoming new series.

“It’s really to tell the stories that haven’t been told. To find out more about the people behind the characters. What I want to do is bring some type of advice to the audience. These people are all hugely successful, but like most people, they’ve been knocked around a lot. How did they overcome the challenges that were put in front of them? How did they get over certain things to become who they are today? It’s really their journey. That’s what I’m trying to tell, their story, their journey of how they’ve gotten to where they are.”

McMahon also gave her thoughts about how much she has enjoyed working as the host for this new series.

“I’ve loved it. I was really nervous to do it. It was my first step back into the business and I was really worried about it. Ultimately, it’s been so rewarding. To get to hang out with our talent, that I know so well on a certain level, but to get to know them so much better and differently and to bring their stories out. With each person it’s different. In some cases, I’m the younger person who remembers them as a big star and in other cases I’m the older person and I’m trying to pull things out of a younger superstar. No one show is the same. It’s a lot of fun.”

It was also announced that this upcoming new series will be premiering on ESPN+ this March.
