Update on WWE Canceling NXT LVL Up & Current Replacement Plans
As noted before, WWE will be canceling their NXT LVL Up series and held the final tapings for the series this past Thursday at their Performance Center as part of a set of television tapings for NXT, NXT LVL Up, and WWE LFG.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials made the decision to drop their NXT LVL Up series so that their NXT brand can film new material instead for their new upcoming WWE LFG reality competition series and other projects. Johnson reportedly stated that these other projects are likely connected to the WWE ID program.

On Jan. 6, Netflix will become the home of your favorite WWE programming, including WWE Raw, SmackDown, NXT, premium live events, and more, all included with your Netflix plan. Below, we’re answering all of your questions about how to watch WWE programming on Netflix, including details on availability depending on your region. Can I watch WWE on my Netflix plan, or is it an additional cost?
All live events on Netflix are included in all plans — including select WWE programming, depending on your region.
Where can I watch WWE Raw?
Beginning on Jan. 6, 2025, Netflix will be the exclusive home of WWE Raw in the United States and territories including American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
Members in the following countries can also watch WWE Raw on Jan. 6, 2025:

Additional countries will be added over time, and all countries listed above (outside the United States) will be able to watch SmackDown, NXT, WWE premium live events and select archival programming.
Can I watch SmackDown, NXT, and WWE premium live events on Netflix?
Netflix members in the United States will not be able to watch SmackDown, NXT, and WWE premium live events. Members in select countries listed above will be able to watch SmackDown and NXT weekly with their Netflix subscriptions, as well as premium live events like WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble, with more countries added in 2026 and beyond. Premium live events are also included with your Netflix subscription when available.
What WWE archival content will be available on service?
In January 2025, Netflix will begin to roll out select WWE archival content on service. WWE Raw archival content will be available for viewing in the United States, with additional archival content available in the countries listed above.
How soon after live airing will episodes be available on Netflix?
Episodes will be available to watch immediately after the live stream. If watching live isn’t supported on your device, these events are available a few days later for you to watch anytime, like other titles.
Can WWE content be downloaded for offline viewing on Netflix?
WWE programming can be downloaded roughly 48 hours after it streams on Netflix.

As noted before, Charlotte Flair has been out of action for WWE since December of 2023 due to a torn ACL, torn meniscus, and torn MCL injuries and underwent surgery this past January. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Flair recently visited WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut for a photo shoot and other logistical work in advance of her upcoming return to the company.
WWE reportedly drew an attendance of 14,186 for their Dec. 14th Saturday Night’s Main Event show at the Nassau Colosseum in Uniondale, New York, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WWE recently released four new videos to their WWE Vault channel on YouTube. The first new video was a WWE Championship match of Triple H vs. Bryan Daniel (c) from the April 7, 2014 episode of WWE RAW. The second new video was a “Bret Hart talks WrestleMania, Montreal and more with Austin: Broken Skull Sessions.” The third new video was a “UNSEEN TITLE MATCH | Triple H defends against Tajiri in Japan.” The fourth new video was a WWE Championship match of 1-2-3 Kid vs. Bret “The Hitman” Hart from the July 11, 1994 episode of WWE RAW.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s NXT series has been dealing with timing related issues involving the end of their shows on The CW’s WPIX station in New York. Meltzer reported that these issues revolve around WPIX has been cutting off NXT’s shows a minute earlier than usual in order to plug in the start of their newscasts on Tuesdays. Meltzer reported that this has lead to NXT’s big show closing angles not airing for viewers on that station. Meltzer also reported that these cut broadcast issues likely also have negatively impacted NXT’s viewership due to The CW’s WPIX station is believed to have the largest NXT viewership in the country.
WWE reportedly currently generated around 15,400 cable television pay-per-view buys for this past November’s Survivor Series WarGames 2024 event based on updated late buys purchases, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Dave Meltzer reported that Survivor Series WarGames 2024’s buys are down 9.9% compared to this past October’s Bad Blood 2024 event based on the same number of days after the event.
WWE recently announced one new segment for the card of this Monday’s WWE RAW show. This new segment announced was a sit-down interview segment featuring Seth Rollins.
