Big E Neck Injury Status Update – Big E Still Not Medically Cleared for In-Ring Career Return
As noted before, Big E has been out of action for WWE since March of 2022 due to a broken neck injury. Big E made an appearance on the December 2nd WWE RAW show reuniting with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for New Day’s 10th anniversary celebration only for Kingston and Woods to turn on Big E and kicked him out of New Day.
A recent episode of KTAR News’ The Mike Broomhead Show featured Big E as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Big E providing an update on his recovery from a broken neck injury and future of his wrestling career.
“I broke my neck, two and a half years ago, in three places, including my C1 in two places. I still haven’t been cleared. Thankfully, I feel great and don’t have any issues, nothing like that. Didn’t need surgery. I was in a hard collar for three months. There are very real risks. We had a suplex that went wrong and I’ve been out since. I’m grateful to have no issues, no pain, nothing like that.”
