Rumor Killer on Zelina Vega Departing from WWE

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources within WWE stated that the recent rumors of Zelina Vega leaving WWE are not true.

Johnson reported that the rumors of Vega’s departure originated after several readers who attended this past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Wichita, Kansas noticed Vega seemingly waving goodbye to the live crowd following her loss in the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament.

Johnson reported that those spoken to confirmed that Vega is still under contract with WWE for several more years. Johnson also reported that Vega had received the biggest reaction between her, Lyra Valkyria, and Ivy Nile for their entrances for the match and her elimination from the tournament generated a huge negative reaction on both social media and WWE’s video of the match on their YouTube channel.

Vince McMahon Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Update – Stay on Lawsuit Expired on Wednesday

As noted before, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit this past January against former TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon accusing McMahon of committing sex trafficking and sexual abuse towards her during her time in the company. Grant’s lawsuit has been on hold since this past April due to the U.S. Department of Justice launching a criminal investigation into McMahon and joined the lawsuit as an “interested party.”

Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that the federal investigation stay on Grant’s lawsuit officially expired earlier today.

Thurston reported that as of this morning, there were no new filings to the court docket for Grant’s lawsuit.
