Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre Announced for WWE RAW Premiere Show on Netflix
Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of next week’s RAW premiere show on Netflix on the January 6, 2025 RAW show at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
This new match announced was a singles match of Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre.
This match was initially setup in recent weeks shows over McIntyre’s bad blood issues and attacks on The Usos and Sami Zayn. During tonight’s show, Uso came out through the crowd to confront New Day before turning his attention towards McIntyre and called him out for a fight. This led to The Bloodline showing up on the big screen and Solo Sikoa talking about how Uso does not need to worry and how they made their mark last Monday and marking the beginning of the end. After some more words by Sikoa about his upcoming Tribal Combat match against Roman Reigns, Uso was distracted long enough for McIntyre to come out from the crowd and attacked Uso from behind. This led to a brawl that was broken up after WWE officials ran out to separate the two and as McIntyre made his way to the back, he suddenly turned out and ran past several WWE officials to lay out Uso with a Claymore Kick in the ring. McIntyre then left the ring as WWE officials tended to Uso.
In a follow-up segment, RAW GM Adam Pearce and Uso were seen backstage and Pearce made a match between Uso and McIntyre for next week’s RAW show.
Current card for January 6, 2025 WWE RAW show:
- WWE Women’s World Championship Last Woman Standing match – Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan (c)
- Tribal Combat match – Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa
- CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
- Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre
