Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice

Lola and Jordan push each other at the start of the match.  Lola sends Jordan to the mat.  Jordan floats over in the corner and hits a cross body.  Jordan with a splash for a near fall.  Lola blocks a Tiger Feint arm drag and Lola with an arm bar with a chin bar.  Jordan with a reversal and she sends Lola to the mat.  Jordan with a double wrist lock.  Lola with an arm bar and take down.  Jordan with a reversal but Lola with a fireman’s carry into a wrist lock.  Jordan kicks Lola away and backs into the corner.  Lola misses a knee in the corner when Jordan goes to the apron.  Jordan with a kick and she misses a cross body when Lola moves.  Lola with spinning heel kicks and a thrust kick to the chest.  Lola sets for the shaking running hip and connects.  Jordan goes to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are bac and Lola with a suplex and she rolls through for a second one.  Lola rolls through to go for the third Amigo and she over shakes her hips and Jordan lands on her feet and she hits a step over leg lariat for a near fall.  Lola with a punch and kick followed by a forearm and knee.  Lola with another knee to the midsection.  Jordan with a step over jumping side kick and both are down.  Jordan with forearms and a clothesline.  Jordan with a cartwheel into a back elbow but Lola counters into a rear naked choke.  Jordan gets back to her feet and she backs Lola into the corner but Lola holds on.  Jordan falls back to the mat and escapes the hold.

Cora Jade appears on the apron and Lola and Jordan with a rollup into a bridge.

Winner:  Kelani Jordan via Pinfall.

After the match, Jade attacks Lola with the kendo stick and Stephanie Vaquer comes out and she blocks a shot.  

Jade begs for mercy between Vaquer and Lola and Lola with a back fist but Jade moves and Vice hits Vaquer.

We look at the nominees for the Match of the Year.

Jorsh Briggs talks about how it is impressive that his match against Oba Femi and Dijak won.  He thanks everyone who voted and feasted their eyes on that match.  He says they were told to make that the match of the weekend and they tried.  He says Inamura and him have something special for the tag team division.

We are back with a look at Giulia.  She says this is the rematch she has been waiting for since October.  She says Roxanne belongs in the discussion of one fo the greats but her time at the top is over.  It is time for the Beautiful Madness.  She says it is time to live up to the hype.  She mentions Rhea, Charlotte, Shayna, and Asuka.  Giulia says she wants to be talked about with those future hall of famers.  She says watching wrestling put a surge of electricity through her body.  She mentions that wresting in Japan is about proving yourself and she talks about fighting incredible women in Japan.  Their spirit is telling her not to lose.

She says there is nothing that Roxanne can throw at her that she cannot over come.  She won the Iron Survivor Match for this chance to win what she traveled across the world for.  Next week, she will become the new NXT Women’s Champion.  

Video: 2024 NXT Year End Awards – NXT Moment of the Year

It is time to see the nominees for NXT Moment of the Year.

The winner is Joe Hendry in NXT.  

Joe thanks the NXT Universe for voting for his debut as the moment of the year.  He says it was a magical moment.  He says it was special because of the reception he got in the building and online.

Backstage: Cedric Alexander, “All Ego” Cedric Alexander

Sarah is with Cedric Alexander and she asks him about Je’Von Evans.

Cedric says he has been in the business for fifteen years and he never saw anything like that.  Evans’ jaw is wired shut.  He is worried about Je’Von’s qualifty of life.  Evans mentioned New Year’s Evil.

Ethan Page shows up and he says he wishes one of those texts said stay away from Ethan Page because he is going to put him next to Je’Von.

Alexander punches Page and he sends him into a room in the Performance Center and officials try to stop Cedric.

Alexander and Page fight to the right and officials try to hold them apart.

Cedric Alexander vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page

The match is joined in progress and Alexander with punches and kicks to Page.  Page with a forearm and punches.  Cedric punches back and he chops Page.  Cedric with a drop kick to the knees and another drop kick.  Cedric with a forearm into the corner and a kick for a near fall.  Cedric with a kick to the back but Page with punches and a face buster.  Page with a chop and Alexander floats over in the ropes and Page goes to the floor.  Cedric with a suicide dive onto Page.  Page is sent back into the ring and Alexander goes for a slingshot move but Page counters with a DDT for a face buster for a near fall.  Page chokes Cedric against the ropes.

Page with a drop kick and he gets a near fall.  Page with a boot to the head and a reverse chin lock.  Cedric with punches and a forearm.  Cedric with a boot and a kick to Page followed by running forearms.  Cedric gets Page on his shoulders but Page escapes.  Cedric avoids Ego’s Edge and hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Cedric runs into a boot from Page.  Page with a cutter for the three count.

Winner:  Ethan Page via Pinfall.

After the match, Page punches Cedric  and he sends Cedric to the floor.  Page follows him to the floor and Page sends Cedric into the ring steps.  Page goes under the ring for the tool box after rejecting the fire extinguisher and a chair.  Page slams the lid of the tool box onto Cedric’s hand.  

The medical staff checks on Cedric as Page watches.

Backstage: Hank & Tank, Tyson Dupont, Tyriek Igwe, Shawn Spears, Wes Lee

Hank, Tank, Tyriek, and Tyson are in LOCKER ROOM.  They talk about what happened last week and Hank says they are not cool after what happened.

Shawn Spears shows up and so does Wes Lee.  Shawn says something to Wes and he leaves.

Tank asks Tyson and Tyriek if they are going to trust Wes.  Wes says they are down a man and then Hank and Tank say they will find someone.

Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Shotzi & Gigi Dolin vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance vs. Meta-Four (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend)

Gigi and Carter start things off and they lock up.  Carter with a waist lock and a single leg take down.  Carter misses a round kick but hits a thrust kick.  Lash tags in and she tells Gigi to go to the apron and she helps Gigi.  Carter with a reverse chin lock and Lash with a snap mare to escape.  Lash with a slam and splash for a near fall.  Lash with a wrist lock and she lifts Carter into the air.  Carter gets to her feet and she hits a drop kick and Katana tags in.  Lash sends Chance into Carter but Carter with a kick and Chance with a slingshot senton for a near fall.  

Shotzi tags in and she kicks Lash.  Jackson tags in and she punches Shotzi.  Jackson with a butterfly suplex for a near fall.  Shotzi with a jaw breaker and a running back elbow.  Gigi tags in and Gigi with a wrist lock take down and she knocks Lash off the apron.  Shotzi tags in and hits a back senton and Gigi follows with a drop kick.  Shotzi with a Cloverleaf on Jakara and she goes for the ropes but that will not help her.  Jakara kicks Shotzi away and Carter tags in and she hits a running boot to Shotzi.  Carter with a punch to Gigi and Carter with a cross body to Shotzi and Gigi.  Chance and Carter send Lash over the top rope to the floor.

Carter and Chance with twisting planchas onto everyone on the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Gigi with forearms and kicks followed by a knee to Lash.  Lash with a punch and Carter tags in and she hits a springboard victory roll into a thrust kick.  Chance tags in and she goes up top for a handstand twisting splash for a near fall.  Jakara tags in and she goes up to and hits a missile drop kick.  Chance with a kick and Carter tags in and hits a scorpion kick.  Jakara falls over Chance and Carter sends Chance onto Jakara but Jakara gets her knees up.  Jakara with a drop kick.  Gigi with a kick to Jakara and Shotzi hits a neck breaker0.  Shotzi sends Chance to the apron and Gigi knocks her off the apron.  Shotzi with a suicide dive that falls a few inches short of her target.

Jakara with sling blade and Lash tags in.  Jakara gets on Lash’s shoulders and she hits a splash onto everyone on the floor.  Gigi with a crucifix bomb for a near fall.  Gigi goes up top and Nyx distracts the referee while Jacy knocks Gigi off the turnbuckles.  Lash with a bicycle kick and then Jakara tags in and they hit the cutter and sit out gourduster for the three count.

Winner: Meta-Four via Pinfall.

Isla and Alba appear on the Tron and Alba says that they heard Lash and Jakara wanted a tag title but so do they.  Isla reminds them that they won the last time they met.  They will have no problem running through them again.

Backstage: Stephanie Vaquer, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Ava, Cora Jade

LOla tries to stop Stephanie to explain what happened.  She says she didn’t mean to hit her.

Kelani says it is funny that the tables have turned.  She reminds them what they said.  Lola says she meant to hit Cora.

Kelanis says they deserve it and then Lola and Jordan push each other around.

Cora Jade is next to Ava enjoying the drama.  Ava says she needs someone to step up to challenge Fallon Henley for the title.

Ava says that she will get a chance in a Fatal Four Way against Lola, Kelani, and Stephanie.

Backstage: Ava, Lexis King, William Regal, Charlie Dempsey

Ava is with Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey.

Lexis says it is great to be champion and he won with integrity.  

Ava mentions that he won by DQ.  She says it is a gray area for the title to change on a DQ.  Next week, they will have a rematch and it will be one fall. 

Charlie says that is fine and he knows he can win.

Ava starts to talk to Regal about the match and Regal says he wants nothing to do with it.

Ava gives the trophy back to Charlie and Lexis says he did everything right.

Video: 2024 NXT Year End Awards – NXT Tag Team of the Year

We take a look at the nominees for Tag Team of the Year.

The winners are Nathan Frazer and Axiom.  They are with Sarah.  Axiom says they went from rivals to a tag team.  Frazer says they never thought it would lead to this and they have not slowed down.  They have had some ups and downs and Frazer says he wouldn’t want it any other way.

Lucien Price and Bronco Nima show up and they say that you might have done a lot in 2024, but they are coming for the titles in 2025.

Backstage: Sol Ruca, Zaria

Sol Ruca and Zaria are in ROOM and they talk about their tag match.  Sol says it is only up for them.

Sol Ruca vs. Izzi Dame

We see a number of WWE ID wrestlers in the crowd.

They lock up and Sol with a take down off the turnbuckles.  Sol with a drop toe hold into a side head lock.  Izzi goes for a head scissors but Sol fights it off.  Sol with a side head lock take down.  Sol iwth a shoudler tackle and a matrix followed by a shoulder tackle.  Izzi with an Iris whip and Sol floats over and Izzi goes shoulder first into the ring post.  Sol surfs on Izzi in the turnbuckles and she follows with a knee to the head.  Sol with a springboard move and she is met with a forearm by Izzi.  Izzi with punches.  Izzi with a back elbow for a near fall.  Izzi chokes Sol in the ropes.  Izzi gets Sol on her shoulders but Sol gets to her feet.  Sol with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall.  Sol with a forearm.

Spears is on HBalKony.  

Izzi with a cutter as Zaria makes her way to the ring and Izzi gets a near fall.  Izzi sends Sol into the turnbuckles as she goes around the ring.  Sol blocks the fourth turnbuckle and she connects with a back elbow.  Sol sends Izzi into the turnbuckles and she follows with a thrust kick and elbow.  Sol with a forearm and a springboard forearm and a cross body.  Sol with an Irish whip and she is sent to teh apron.  Sol with a kick and Izzi goes down.  Sol with a springboard splash onto Izzi but Izzi gets her knees up.  Sol with an X Factor but Izzi goes to the floor.  Sol goes up top and Izzi pulls Zaria into the way of the moonsault.  Izzi with a kick and she sends Sol back into the ring. 

Izzi with I Drive for the three count.

Winner:  Izzi Dame via Pinfall.

Backstage: Hank & Tank, Andre Chase

Hank and Tank are talking to someone off camera and he knows that he has dealt with some ups and downs but they need him to be their partner. 

We see that they are talking to Andre Chase and he appears to be their partner.

Video: 2024 NXT Year End Awards – NXT Female Superstar of the Year

We are back with a look at the nominees for NXT Female Wrestler of the Year.

Roxanne Perez is the Women’s Superstar of the Year.  She says it is fitting that she is Superstar of the Year.  It started when she realized there is no one on her level and she dominated anyone who faced her.  She talks about laying the pipe bomb on Mr. Pipe Bomb.  She mentions all of the people who have come to NXT during the year.  Do people think Giulia is going to change things?  She is an international sensation and people think she will take the title from her.  Roxanne says she is the one and the only one.

Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, & Tyriek Igwe vs. Andre Chase & Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger)

Wes, Tyriek, and Tyson attack before the bell.  Igwe with a clothesline to Tank followed by a hard Irish whip.  Hank absorbs the Irish whip and Tank with a shoulder tackle to Igwe.  Chase tags in and he tags in Hank.  Tank with a splash and Chase with a knee.  Hank with a spinning back double sledge for a near fall.  Hank with a wrist lock and he works on Igwe’s shoulder.  Tank tags in and he hits a splash.  Tank with a snap mare and he gets a near fall.  Igwe with an Irish whip and splash.  Igwe kicks Tank in the corner.  Tank with a punch and Igwe with a chop.  Tank with a kick and punch.  Igwe with an Irish whip and Wes tags in.  Tank with a spinebuster and both men are down.  All six men get in the ring and Chase and Hank send Igwe and Dupont into each other and they go to the floor.  Hank and Tank with the Malachi Crunch while Chase takes care of Igwe and Dupont with a swanton off the turnbuckles.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Igwe keeps Hank from making the tag.  Igwe with a drop kick.  Dupont tags in and hits a power slam.  Wes gets a near fall.  Wes with kicks to Hank.  Chase has some words for Chase and he taunts Andre.  Wes with punches to Hank and Hank punches back.  Wes with an elbow to the back of the head and he knocks Chase off the apron as well as Tank.  Hank blocks a tornado DDT and Wes with a guillotine.  Hank with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.  Wes with a drop kick.  Igwe and Tyson send Wes onto Hank for a double stomp.  Wes with another tornado DDT attempt and Hank blocks it and hits a suplex.

Tank tags in and so does Igwe.  Tank with clothesliens and a spinebuster.  Tank punches Dupont and sends him into the ring and Tank with a slingshot splash.  Tank with a cartwheel and clothesline to Igwe.  Chase tags in and he runs into a boot from Igwe.  Wes kicks Tank and drop kicks him into the ringside barrier.  Chase with punches to Igwe.  Chase with a side Russian leg sweep.  Chase sets for the C-H-A-S-E-U Stomp but Chase goes catatonic and tags in Hank and leaves the ring and walks to the back.  Hank with a shoulder to Igwe and he misses a move off the turnbuckles.  Wes kicks Hank when Igwe kicks out.  Igwe with a stunner for the three count.

Winner: Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, & Tyriek Igwe via Pinfall.

Backstage: Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Nikkita Lyons, Izzi Dame, Shawn Spears, The D’Angelo Family

Ashante Thee Adonis is trying to call Karmen but the calls go to voicemail.  He tells her that she is the one and he would love to spend New Year’s Eve with her but if she isn’t available then he will do it alone.

Nikkita Lyons congratulates him on his win last week and she invites him to a party but Adonis refuses.

Spears says Izzi had a big win and she is on the way to title contention.

Izzi tells Spears to leave him alone and then the Family shows up and he tells Spears to listen to the lady.

Spears says he saw the beat down.

Backstage: Andre Chase, Kale Dixon

We are back and Kale Dixon asks Andre Chase when the next semester starts and Chase says Chase University is dead.

They run through the card for New Year’s Evil.

In-Ring: Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Eddy Thorpe

We see the nominees for Men’s Superstar of the Year.

Mike Rome is in the ring to announce the Men’s Superstar of the Year but Oba Femi interrupts and he does the Oba Strut to the ring.

Oba takes the award from Mike.

Oba says you and your awards.  It does not matter who wins the award.  All this is is a prop for a popularity contest.  It is funny that you think you can dictate the narrative.  You can chant or not and it does not matter.  His performance does not change.  You control nothing.  Oba says he is the only one who controls things.  He steers the ship.  HE IS THE CAPTAIN NOW.  You can watch him win the title next week.

Trick Williams comes to the ring, I guess as Tom Hanks in Captain Phillips, 

Trick says he doesn’t want Oba to come out and tell lies.  It helps to get some love from the fans and he says he appreciates that.  He says he knows what they have next week.  A Triple Threat match.  He says he has to dig deep to win.  He needs to be ruthless.  He needs the old Trick to get things done.  He says he knows that Oba has nicknames, but he has a new one.  “Beatable Oba”.  If you weren’t beatable, it would be a one on one match and he asks where is Oba’s title.  He says Oba is chasing him.  Since you want to talk about facts, when you got beat at Halloween Havoc, you were gone for a few weeks.  How many weeks are you going to take off when you lose next week.

Eddy attacks Oba and Trick and then he hits Oba with the trophy.

Eddy holds the title belt.
