We take a look back at Deadline.


In-Ring: Giulia, Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Kelani Jordan

Giulia makes her way to the ring.

She says she is the Iron Survivor.  This means that she is going to do what she said she would do.  Roxanne, at New Yeare’s Evil in LA, the Beautiful Madness will be the Women’s Champion.

Roxanne Perez interrupts and she congratulates Giulia and she says she was lucky.  She says that Sol was the MVP and Wren almost won despite all of the time she spent in the penalty box.  She says Vaquer and Zaria ran out of time.  Perez says that Giulia is not on her level, but on Saturday the ladies proved why they have the best women’s division.  It won’t change at New Year’s Evil.  We met before and it was the same result for the last year.  She won the match and retained the title.  At New Year’s Evil it will be the same result.  You will fall short, assuming you make it to New Year’s Evil.

Giulia suggests they do it right now.

Cora Jade interrupts and she says Giulia won’t make it to New Year’s Evil because of them.

We take a look at Stephanie Vaquer down in the back.

Giulia hits Perez and Cora hits Giulia with the bat.  They double team Giulia and Kelani Jordan comes out and she goes after Jade and she swings and misses with the bat.


Video: D’Angelo Family, “All Ego” Ethan Page

We see Ethan Page from Deadline talking about how long it took him to come to NXT and win the title.  

We see WRESTLERS watching the video and Tony D’Angelo enters the room.

Tony goes over to Ethan and he tells Ethan to get over the loss.

Ethan says he doesn’t know how to get back into the title picture.

Tony says that Ethan blew it.  He says he has a soft spot for Page and he offers him a North American Title match.

Ethan says he carried the brand when he was champion.  He says the North American title is a step down.

Tony says he was trying to be a nice guy and offer an olive branch.

Tony offers anyone else in the room a match.

Ethan says he will take the match and Tony says he doesn’t want to take a step down.

Ethan says if he cannot beat the North American champion, his career is as good as over.


Backstage: Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey, No Quarter Catch Crew, OTM, Jaida Parker

Lexis King tells Charlie Dempsey that he is a man of integrity and on top of his game.  He wants another Heritage Cup match and Charlie says he will think about it.

Wren, Tavion, and Myles show up and Charlie talks about how impressed he was with their performances on Saturday.

Nima and Price show up and they say that they knew Tavion and Myles wouldn’t have won.

Wren talks about how close they came and Jaida Parker shows up and says if it weren’t for Lola’s back fist, Wren wouldn’t have been in the Iron Survivor Match.  A challenge is made.


Je’Von Evans vs. Wes Lee

Wes and Evans exchange punches.  Evans with forearms and punches.  The referee warns Evans and Lee punches Evans against the ropes.  Evans sends Wes to the floor and Evans with a suicide dive.  Evans punches Wes on the floor.  Evans with a punch and Lee gets back in the ring.  Evans goes for a springboard move but Wes with a back fist to the midsection followed by kicks.  Evans goes for a springboard move but Wes with a drop kick to the midsection for a near fall.  Wes with forearms.  Wes with shoulders in the corner.  Wes with a back elbow to the neck and a forearm.  Evans sends Wes to the floor.

Evans goes for a pescado but Wes trips Wes and sends him into the ringside barrier.  Wes sends Evans into the ringside barrier again.  Wes sends Evans back into the ring and Evans kicks Wes and hits a pescado.  Evans sends Wes into the ringside barrier.  Wes with a slingshot head scissors followed by a drop kick.  Lee goes to the floor again.  Evans sets for a dive to the floor but Wes kicks Evans in the knee.  Wes with a flip dive onto Evans.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Evans goes for a superplex but Wes with forearms to send Evans to the mat.  Wes misses a somersault senton and Evans with a super kick.  Evans with punches and a clothesline.  Evans with a back elbow and a springboard round kick to the head.  Evans goes to the apron and he hits a springboard clothesline for a near fall.  Evans goes for a Tiger Driver but Wes with a back body drop and Evans goes for a sunset flip but Evans does not go over.  Evans with a jumping punch and they exchange punches.  Evans with a kick and Wes counters a Tiger Driver with a rana.  Evans with Spanish Fly and a Tiger Driver for a near fall.  

Evans goes for a springboard move but Wes trips Evans in the ropes and the referee stops the count when he sees Wes’ feet on the ropes.  Evans misses a double jump cutter and Wes with a tornado DDT.  Wes with a Cardiac Kick for a near fall.  Evans with a super kick and he punches Wes.  Evans with a super kick and a double jump twisting splash for the three count.

Winner: Je’Von Evans via Pinfall.


Backstage: Axiom, Nathan Frazer

Nathan Frazer and Axiom are in room and Axiom says Frazer could have been the Iron Survivor.  Frazer says they still have the tag titles.  Axiom apologizes because he was worried having Frazer wrestle twice.  Frazer says it is because Axiom they retained the titles.

Axiom points out that Oba won without being in the match.  He tells Frazer that he would do anything for Frazer.  Frazer says he needs to make this right.


Video: Josh Briggs, Yoshiki Inamura

We are back and Josh Briggs talks about wrestling in Pro Wrestling Noah in the N1 tournament.  He talks about Inamura and how well they got along, despite the language barrier. They talk about working as a tag team even though Josh didn’t want to return to the division but Ava will notice them.


Backstage: Kelani Jordan, Giulia

Sarah is in front of the medical room and she waits for updates on Stephanie Vaquer.  Giulia and Kelani walk out and Giulia gives an update.  Jordan says what goes around comes around.  Kelani says she is not the same person she was at Michigan State.


Backstage: Zaria, Sol Ruca, Meta-Four

Zaria and Sol Ruca are in LOCKER ROOM.  Sol says Iron Survivor was the most fun she had in a long time.  Zaria says she never felt that way before.  

Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson show up and Lash says she knew neither would have won.  Jakara says if they were in a qualifier match they would have won.

Lash says she is not impressed with Zaria.

Sol says Lash would not have done well in Iron Survivor against Zaria.

Jakara wonders why Sol is defending Zaria.


Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) vs. Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont

Tank and Tyson start things off and Tank with a shoulder tackle and Tyson with one of his own.  Tank with an atomic drop and he goes up for a double jump shoulder tackle.  Hank tags in and hits a leg drop for a near fall.  Dupont with a hot shot and Igwe tags in for a double shoulder tackle.  Igwe kicks Hank and applies a side head lock.  Hank misses a clothesline and Igwe with a drop kick.  Hank with a boot to Igwe and he sends him into the corner and follows with punches.  Tank with a shoulder to Igwe and Hank with a splash followed by a bulldog.  They set for the Malachi Crunch and connect.  Igwe and Tank with punches followed by a body block from Igwe.

Igwe with punches to Tank followed by an Irish whip and splash.  Igwe with a belly-to-back suplex and Dupont tags in and hits a splash for a near fall.  Tank punches Tyson and Tyson with an Irish whip and uppercut.  Igwe tags in and he sends Tank into the corner but Tank with a shoulder.  Igwe keeps Tank from making the tag and he runs Tank into the corner.  Dupont with a splash and Igwe gets a near fall.  Igwe with an Irish whip and elbow in the corner.  Hank absorbs the Irish whip impact and Tank with a clothesline.  Hank and Dupont tag in and Hank with forearms and a splash.  Hank with an Irish whip and clothesline.  Tank with a Thesz Press onto Igwe on the floor.  Hank misses a clothesline off the turnbuckles but hits a Bossman slam.  Tank tags in and they hit the power slam and cross body combination for the three count.

Winner: Hank & Tank via Pinfall.

After the match, Hank and Tank offer their hands and Tyson shakes it but Igwe refuses.


Backstage: Oba Femi

Oba Femi walks in CHAMPION’S HALLWAY as we go to commercial.


In-Ring: Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Eddy Thorpe

We are back and Oba Femi struts to the ring.

Oba says surprise surprise, the ruler is back and he laughs.  At Deadline he came into the building, he kicked down the opposition, and he destroyed everybody.  Now he is the Iron Survivor.  In 4 weeks in Los Angeles he will become the ruler of NXT.  That brings him to Trick Williams.  They have not officially crossed paths yet, but they have both been dominant.  Now it is time to find out who the real tough guy is.

Trick Williams’ music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.

Eddy Thorpe interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.  He says this isn’t happening.  He will not ignore what Oba did to him.  He says his people have been through enough.  He says Oba attacked him on Tuesday and then you take his spot on Saturday.

Oba tells Eddy to shut up.  Oba says Eddy is making some bold accusations.  He asks if Eddy saw him being attacked.

Eddy says he was hit from behind and he has never been hit that hard before.  

Oba says he is done with Eddy.

Trick tells Oba to listen to him.  He says he has been there.  The highs and the lows.  He won the Iron Survivor.  He says people are looking forward to them meeting.  The biggest stars in NXT, Trick Williams and Oba Femi will collide for New Year’s Evil.  Trick says that sounds good.  They have never really talked but he is glad that Oba is here.

The legacy of a title is not by how long you hold the title, but by who you beat when you carry it.

Oba says Trick is talking this noise about being champion.  He says no one has hit him with truth.  The reason you have been the number one guy around here is because he let him.  The only reason there was a Whoop that Trick Era was because he allowed it.  The truth is that he has always known that when he was ready, he would take that easily.  Oba tells Eddy and Trick that they have a date with destiny at New Year’s Evil.  Oba promises the beginning of 2025 will be the end of your era.

Eddy tells Trick he is the chamipon and he needs to be the leader.  You didn’t address what Oba did to him.  Eddy says he thought Trick would give him a title match for what happened to him, but that isn’t the case.  You were the leader but when you look under the hood, you have a sports entertainer.  He says Trick wouldn’t last two weeks in the dojos he came up in.  Eddy says a guy who came from Eagles training camp and went to a WWE tryout.

Trick says he is sick of the doubters because look at him now.  Trick asks Eddy if he thinks he can win the title from him, he has no problem beating everyone in the locker room.  Trick tells Eddy he will face him next week and he tells Ava to set it up.

Trick punches Eddy.


Backstage: Fatal Influence, Gigi Dolin, Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dane, Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance

Jacy says Gigi is obsessed with her.  Fallon says she is back because she wans the title.  Jazmyn says they need to take care of her.

Gigi tells Tatum that there are two of them to deal with three people.  Tatum says she has a new friend.  

Izzi Dame shows up and says she is not done with Gigi.

Shawn Spears shows up with Nico and Brooks and he says that he is impressed with Izzi.

Izzi says she doesn’t want to deal with them.


Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx & Jacy Jayne) vs. Tatum Paxley & Gigi Dolin

Tatum and Jacy start things off and Jacy with a forearm.  Tatum avoids a splash from Jacy and she applies a wrist lock to Nyx.  Gigi tags in and kicks Nyx followed by a splash from Tatum for a near fall.  Gigi floats over and kicks Nyx and hits a drop kick against the ropes.  Nyx sends Gigi into the ring post and back into the ring.  Jacy tags in and she punches Gigi.  Jacy with more punches and a kick.  Jacy with a shoulder in the corner.  Nyx tags in and chokes Gigi.  Jacy tags in and Jacy with an elbow and Nyx with a kick.  Jacy with a kick to the back but she misses a back senton.  Tatum distracts Jacy and Jacy misses a kick.  Tatum tags in and she connects with punches.  Tatum wtih a clothesline to Nyx followed by a butterfly suplex to Jacy.  Tatum with a cross body into the corner on both women.  Tatum with a spinning Olympic slam.  Nyx distracts the referee and Fallon pushes Tatum off the turnbuckles.  

Jacy with a rolling elbow for the three count.

Winner: Fatal Influence via Pinfall.

Fallon, Jacy, and Jazmyn work over Tatum and Gigi after the match until . . . 

Shotzi returns and she attacks Nyx and Jacy.  Shotzi with a suicide dive to Fallon, Jacy, and Jazmyn.


Backstage: Axiom, Nathan Frazer

Axiom and Frazer are in the back and Axiom says he went to Ava and he has a match against Oba Femi.  Frazer is shocked that the match happens next week.  Axiom says he is not going to stand for what Oba did to him.  Frazer says he felt bad about carrying the team at Deadline so he went to Ava to get a title match.  Axiom wants to know when and Frazer says next week.  Axiom doesn’t like having two matches.  Axiom tells Frazer to look at his face and Frazer says that Axiom wears a mask.


NXT North American Championship
“All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Tony D’Angelo (c)

They lock up and Tony with a side head lock take down and Page with a head scissors.  Tony with a side head lock take down and another one.  Page with a head scissors.  Page with a punch and slam.  Page with an Irish whip but Tony with a clothesline and slam.  Tony with an Irish whip.  Both men go to the floor after a clothesline.  Tony sends Page back into the ring and he kicks Page in the back.  Tony with more kicks.  Tony with a hard Irish whip.  Page with an Irish whip and he runs into a boot.  Tony gets a near fall.  Tony with a reverse chin lock.  Page with a jaw breaker and he gets a near fall.  Page punches Tony.  

Page sends Tony into his boot on the turnbuckles.  Page with a punch.  Tony blocks a punch and he punches Page many times.  Tony goes to the turnbuckles for punches.  Tony tosses his suspendes aside and he goes for a suplex but Page blocks it.  Page with a gourdbuster.  Tony with a face buster and a running knee lift.  Tony charges into the corner but Page moves and he sends Tony shoulder first into the ring post.  Page gets a near fall.  Page with a power slam for a near fall.  Tony wtih a belly-to-back suplex.  Page with punches and Tony punches back.  Tony with a clothesline and a second one.  Tony with a belly-to-belly suplex followed by a second one.

Tony goes for a spinebuster but Page punches Tony and connects with a thrust kick.  Tony with a spear for a near fall.  Tony sets for Fuggedaboutit and Page counters with an inside cradle.  Page with a kick for a near fall.  Page sets for the Ego’s Edge but Tony blocks it.  Tony backs Page into the turnbuckles and follows with an Irish whip and clothesline.  Tony puts Page on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex.  Page sends Tony to the mat and he kicks Tony.  Page with another kick and a cutter for a near fall.  Page gets Tony up for Ego’s Edge but Tony escapes and hits a spinebuster for the three count.

Winner: Tony D’Angelo via Pinfall to retain the NXT North American Championship.


Backstage: Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey

Lexis is with Ryan Leaf and he talks about his past in the NFL and how he changed his life.  

Ryan says he is impressed by what Lexis has done.  He says Lexis is making a hell of a name for himself.  

Lexis says he appreciates the advice to go to Minneapolis.

Charlie Dempsey shows up and says he will give King a match in two weeks if he can survive a work out next week.


Parking Lot: “All Ego” Ethan Page

We are back and Ethan is stopped in the Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment and he cannot talk about it.  He says he has lost his way.  He says that he says he is all ego, but he doesn’t think he is.  He says he if he isn’t good enough to take the North American Title, what about the World Title?  Ethan says he is ashamed.


Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade vs. Giulia & Kelani Jordan

Perez and Jade attack Giulia in the aisle and Jordan comes out.  Jade and Perez are sent into the apron.  They go into the ring and continue to brawl.  Perez Irish whips Jordan at Guilia but the avoid each other.  Jordan and Giulia drop kick Jade and Perez to the floor.  Jordan with a twisting pescado onto Jade and Perez.

The match starts and Jordan gets a near fall.  Giulia tags in and they push each other.  Perez goes for a head scissors but Giulia sends her to the mat.  Perez with a crucifix for a near fall.  Giulia uses the hair and then Jade gets in the ring and Giulia goes after her.  Jade tags in and runs Giulia against the ropes.  Jade misses an elbow and Giulia gets a near fall.  Giulia with a front face lock and Jordan tags in .  Giulia kicks Jade and Jordan gets a near fall.  Jade with an arm bar and she backs Jordan to the ropes.  Jordan with a Tiger Feint arm drag and Perez tags in.  Jordan with arm drag and a drop kick.  Jordan with a hard Irish whip.  Giulia tags in and Jordan with a handspring back elbow.  Guilia sets for a running boot but Jade pulls Perez to the floor.

Perez and Jade want the referee to hold Giulia back.  Giulia blocks a kick and gets a near fall with a back slide.  Giulia with a wrist lock and Jordan tags in and goes up top and hits a double sledge to the arm.  Jordan with a wrist lock.  Perez slaps Jordan and Jordan with a double leg take down and she slams Perez’ head into the mat.  Jade trips Jordan and Perez with a Thesz Press and punches.  Perez wtih boots to Jordan and Jade tags in.  Jade sends Jordan face first into the mat.  Jade with a kick to the back.  Perez tags in and connects with a forearm to the back.  Perez with forearms and a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall.  Perez with a rear chin lock.

Jordan escapes and she punches Perez.  Jordan with more punches.  Perez with an uppercut and Jordan goes to the floor.  Perez with a suicide dive.  They return to the ring.  Jade tags in and hits a back elbow followed by a springboard moonsault for a near fall.  Jordan punches Jade.  Jade with a forearm.  Jade with a knee to Jordan and Perez tags in.  Jade and Perez with an Irish whip and Jordan kicks Perez and then Jordan sends Jade over the top rope to the floor when she goes for a knee.  Giulia tags in and she connecs with forearms to Perez.  Giulia kicks Perez and chokes her.  Perez with a boot against the ropes and a wrist clutch package suplex for a near fall.  Giulia goes for a spinning driver but Perez escapes and she misses Pop Rox.  Giulia with a forearm and Perez fires back.

They continue the exchange.  Giulia with a Saito suplex .  Jordan tags in and Giulia with a Michinoku Driver followed by a splash from Jordan for a near fall.  Jade breaks up the cover.  Jordan goes for a suplex but Perez with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Perez with a drop kick to Jordan and Jade tags in.  Jade holds Jordan and Giulia trips Perez.  Jade with a knee to knock Giulia off the apron.  Jordan with a step over jumping heel kick.  Jordan with a pescado onto Jrade.  Perez holds Jordan and kicks her on the floor and follows with Pop Rox.  Perez sends Jordan into the ring and Giulia with a drop kick off the apron to Perez.

They fight to the back while Jordan gets back to her feet.  Jade with a Future Shock DDT for the three count.

Winner: Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade via Pinfall.

After the match, Stephanie Vaquer’s music plays and Cora waits for her but Vaquer attacks Jade from behind and sends Jade to the floor.

Jade begs for mercy and Vaquer chases Jade through the crowd.


Backstage: Eddy Thorpe

Eddy signs the contract in OFFICE and he says he cannot believe it is happening.

Ava tells Eddy they are still looking into who attacked him.  

Eddy says he knows who attacked him and he says it was him.  He says he got his title match without going through 25 minutes of hell.  Eddy says he will see Ava in Lowell.
