Nick Khan Comments on “WWE Content Will Remain Family-friendly on Netflix”
Netflix held a media event on Tuesday at their headquarters in Los Angeles, California. One of the guests was WWE President Nick Khan.
One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about WWE’s content will remain family-friendly on Netflix following their RAW television series upcoming move to the service.
“We’re not changing the rating of our programming. So there’s some online chatter about, ‘oh, it’s going to be R-rated, or for us old folks, X-rated.’ That’s definitely not happening. It’s family-friendly, multi-generational, advertiser-friendly programming. It’s going to stay that way. I would look for more global flair, especially as the relationship continues to develop. Countries outside of the United States are as important to us as the United States is. So we have certain targeted countries that are priorities for Netflix. They’re priorities for us. You’re going to see more of that. I think that’s the way you’ll see a bit of a difference.

“Letting the cat out of the bag a little bit right now. Pat’s actually about to come back with us here, full-time on Monday Night RAW.”

Big E WWE Contract Status Update
As noted before, Big E made an in-person appearance at this past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Everett, Washington as part of New Day’s 10 year anniversary celebration segment.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that all three members of New Day, Big E, Kofi Kingston, & Xavier Woods, had all signed five-year contracts five years ago and are set to expire at the end of this year.
It was reported that while there has been no new regarding the status of Kingston and Woods’ current contracts, the belief as of this past summer was that WWE officials did not add any injury time to Big E’s contract despite him being out of action since March of 2022.
It was also reported that it is currently not known if Big E had signed a new deal since then but as of this past summer, his contract is still believed to be expiring at the end of 2024.
