“I’m at home now, obviously with my injured shoulder. I am out indefinitely for at least six or seven more months with a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum. The Rock’s Uncertain Status for WrestleMania 41 Update

As noted before, WWE’s Bad Blood 2024 event earlier this month in Atlanta, Georgia featured Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson making his surprise return to WWE. The Rock had denied reports and rumors of him not currently being scheduled to work at next year’s WrestleMania 41 event due to his acting career work schedule issues.

WrestlePurists’ Ibou reported that his sources stated that Johnson is currently planned to do reshoots for the Moana 2 film that were not orginally planned and accounted for.

Ibou reported that those spoken to confirmed that WWE officials current plans for the Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 41 is for Cody Rhodes to defend his title against John Cena.

Ibou also reported that WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque currently has a couple of WrestleMania 41 cards prepared in case of emergency and WWE is currently working with their Card #2 plans. These plans reportedly are for Cena vs. Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk to be the headliner matches for WrestleMania 41.
