WWE: Current Match Plans for Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk Feud, Ted DiBiase Reportedly Pulled from 12/14 WWE SNME Show, Lola Vice Wins Most Improved Wrestler at 2024 NXT Year End Awards

WWE’s Current Plans for Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk Feud & Planned Date for First Big Match

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the recent rumors of WWE officials plans for a CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins match to take place on RAW’s upcoming premiere show in Los Angeles for Netflix is true.

Johnson reported that those spoken to stated that as of this morning, a Punk vs. Rollins match taking place on that show is “100% the current direction” WWE officials are going towards for their feud plans. Those spoken to reportedly also stated that this match is “absolutely part of the plan to come in nuclear hot” for RAW’s debut on Netflix on January 6, 2025.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that WWE officials currently have plans for this match to be the main event for the show.


Ted DiBiase Reportedly Pulled from Planned Appearance at This Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Show

As noted before, WWE currently has scheduled for several WWE Legends to be in attendance at this Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Uniondale, New York. Among those planned to be in attendance includes WWE Hall of Famer “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase.

SEScoops’ Dominic DeAngelo reported that his sources stated that DiBiase will no longer be attending this Saturday’s show. DeAngelo reported that the reason was due to DiBiase was forced to withdraw and is currently unable to attend. No other details were given regarding DiBiase’s withdrawal.


Lola Vice Wins Most Improved Wrestler at 2024 NXT Year End Awards

WWE’s NXT brand held their NXT Year End Awards ceremony on Thursday in Orlando, Florida.

Lola Vice revealed on Instagram that she was the recipient of this year’s award for Most Improved Wrestler in NXT.
