More on Chris Jericho’s Appearance at This Past Saturday’s GCW Event
As noted before, Chris Jericho made a surprise appearance and attacked both Matt Cardona and EFFY at this past Saturday’s Highest In The Room 3 event for Game Changer Wrestling in Los Angeles, California.
Jericho recently reflected on Instagram about his recent surprise appearance for GCW.
“Hi @themattcardona —- you didn’t think that the King of New York would pop up in Los Angeles at your @gamechangerwrestling Indy Event, did you? You made a big mistake forgetting who you’re dealing with……I always get my man! See you at #rohfinalbattle. @aew @ringofhonor”
In regards to Jericho’s appearance, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that Jericho’s appearance was something that was not something that was planned out ahead of time for the show. Meltzer reported that Jericho was in Los Angeles that night for music concert with Fozzy at the Kuarantine at the Whisky and he figured he could shoot an angle with Cardona at GCW’s show. GCW officials reportedly were on board with the idea when contacted and the idea of Jericho also laying out EFFY as part of his surprise appearance was something that made sense for everyone involved.
