El Hijo del Vikingo Injury Status Update – Vikingo Provides Update & Hopes to be Cleared in a Few Weeks

As noted before, Lucha Libre AAA talent El Hijo del Vikingo suffered an injury at this past Sunday’s Chapter 175: Unboxing VII: The Curtain Call event for PROGRESS Wrestling in London, England. The nature nor severity of Vikingo’s injury was not known at the time.

Vikingo provided an update on Monday on Instagram posting a video of the spot that caused his injury and revealed that it was an ankle or leg-related injury. Vikingo also stated that he hopes that he will be able recover in a few weeks.

“God knows why he puts me through these tests, I have faith that it will be a few weeks, many thanks to all the fans in London for such a wonderful reception.”

Bhupinder Gujjar’s TNA Contract Reportedly Expiring Soon

Bhupinder Gujjar’s contract with TNA Wrestling reportedly is currently set to expire soon, according to Fightful Select.

It was reported that their sources stated that Gujjar’s contract with TNA is currently set to expire on December 31st.

It was also reported that while Gujjar has been with TNA for the past three years, he is expected to become a free agent in 2025.

Gujjar last wrestled for TNA at this past October’s Bound For Glory 2024 and Impact! tapings for Xplosion.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre announced that that they have pulled Villano II Jr. from their upcoming Super Viernes event on January 3, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico due to him recently suffering a serious knee injury.

Former WWE wrestler Eva Marie reportedly recently filed for divorce, according to TMZ. It was reported that Marie filed for divorce from her husband Jonathan Coyle to end their marriage of ten years. It was also reported that Marie and Coyle had been separated as a couple since October of 2023 due to “irreconcilable differences.

Stardom President Taro Okada announced that Stardom drew a paid attendance of 4,023 for this past Sunday’s Dream Queendom 2024 event in Tokyo, Japan. Okada also announced that this was the highest ever attendance for a Stardom event at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall.
