ROH TV Taping Spoilers for 12/26 Boxing Day Brawl Episode – Former ROH Champion Makes Surprise Appearance

Ring of Honor held a new television tapings for ROH TV on Saturday at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York.

This taping will be for a the December 26th episode of ROH TV, which will be the Boxing Day Brawl special.

This tapings was held before and after AEW’s Collision tapings at the same venue that night.

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, former ROH World Champion and wrestling legend Homicide made a surprise appearance. Homicide competed in a tag team match with Rocky Romero against Aaron Solo & QT Marshall. This was Homicide’s first match in ROH since December of 2021.

  • Harley Cameron defeated Ashley Vox
  • Lee Johnson defeated Serpentico
  • “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington & Katsuyori Shibata defeated Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese)
  • Lexy Nair came out to the ring for the MIT Expulsion segment. Nair brought out Billie Starkz first, who looked unhappy, and then brought out ROH Women’s World Champion Athena. Athena talked about her having another historic victory as ROH Women’s Champion and brought up all the problems they have had with Starkz of late. Athena then turned her attention towards Nair and praised Nair’s work and stated that she has made her decision. Athena looked to Starkz and said it was just them for now on and expelled Nair for her poor ring introduction at Final Battle 2024, not wearing the Penguin costume as instructed to go along with her Two-Face entrance, and for nearly costing her the match when she dropped a mic. This led to Nair leaving and Starkz looking confused and dismayed over what happened.
  • Toni Storm defeated Rebecca Scott
  • Rocky Romero & Homicide defeated Aaron Solo & QT Marshall. Prior to the start of the match, Romero had a mystery partner which he revealed to be Homicide.
  • Blake Christian defeated AR Fox
  • Eight-Man Tag Team match – Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, & The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Capt. Shawn Dean) defeated The Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) & Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno)
  • ROH Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet defeated Hanako
  • ROH World Television Champion Komander defeated Johnny TV. Following the match, MxM Collection (Mason Madden & Mansoor) attacked Komander leading to The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) and Orange Cassidy running out to save Komander. This post-match segment was stated to have potentially been a dark segment just for the live crowd.
