Update on AEW Dynamite Viewership for November 27th

The viewership and ratings for this past week’s AEW Dynamite show on November 27th on TBS is currently not known due to the Thanksgiving holiday week delaying the release of Nielsen’s ratings for that day’s television shows on network and cable.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the ratings for that night’s Dynamite show is currently expected to be released on either Monday, December 2nd or Tuesday, December 3rd.


More on AEW Rampage Viewership for November 22nd

The November 22nd episode of AEW Rampage saw AEW gain a very large increase in overall viewership and a small increase in key demographic ratings.

AEW drew 249,000 viewers and a 0.09 key demographic rating on TNT. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was outside of the top 25.

Dave Meltzer reported that the main reason for AEW’s increases that week was due to the very large gain from their younger key demographic viewership group, which was up 166.7% compared to the prior week’s show. Another reason reportedly was due to the higher than usual viewers per home, which was 1.53 for the show.

In terms of notable head-to-head competition, the College football game of Purdue vs. Michigan State drew 1,837,000 viewers on FOX, the College football game of Temple vs. Texas-San Antonio drew 512,000 viewers on ESPN2, and the NBA game of Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans drew 1,378,000 viewers on ESPN, Scare Tactics drew 383,000 viewers on USA Network, 90 Day Fiance drew 416,000 viewers on TLC, and On Patrol Live drew 570,000 viewers on REELZ Channel.

In terms of key demographic viewership, AEW had 119,000 viewers. AEW’s 18-34 had 31,000 viewers (up 210%), Females 18-34 had 9,000 viewers (up 80%), Males 35-49 had 58,000 viewers (up 11.5%), and Females 35-49 had 21,000 viewers (up 162%). Meltzer reported that AEW’s males/female viewership split was 74.8% in favor of males.

In terms of yearly comparisons, AEW was down 5.7% in overall viewership but up 8.2% in key demographic viewership. Meltzer reported that AEW’s 18-34 key demographic viewership was up 42.9% compared to the same week last year.

AEW Rampage quarter hour viewership breakdowns were:

  • 1Q – 264,000 overall viewers and 136,000 key demo viewers (“The Glamour” Mariah May & Mina Shirakawa vs. Nyla Rose & Harley Cameron tag team match and the Continental Classic 2024 video segment)
  • 2Q – 272,000 overall viewers and 142,000 key demo viewers (QT Marshall & Big Boom AJ weigh-in segment & brawl, the AEW World Tag Team Championship Four-way match hype video, and the bulk of the Juice Robinson vs. The Butcher match)
  • 3Q – 236,000 overall viewers and 107,000 key demo viewers (Ending of the Robinson vs. Butcher match, the Thunder Rosa & HarleyGram backstage interview segment, the Ricochet promo video segment, and the start of the Conglomeration vs. Dark Order Trios match)
  • 4Q – 222,000 overall viewers and 92,000 key demo viewers (Bulk of the Conglomeration vs. Dark Order Trios match and the “November Rain” Full Gear 2024 video segment)
