AEW All In: Texas Reportedly Surpasses $1 Million in Ticket Sales

AEW held a Countdown Sale event on Monday in Arlington, Texas to celebrate the upcoming start of the public sale for their All In: Texas event.

Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that AEW has already generated around $1.25 million in ticket sales for their upcoming event.

Meltzer reported that AEW’s current ticket sales for the event is already their third largest gate ever for an AEW event, only behind All In 2023 and 2024 events in London, and the largest ever for an AEW event in North America.

Meltzer reported that the total amount of tickets sold is currently not known and speculated that the majority of the sales for its gate were from the highest priced tickets.

New Starrcast Event Announced for All In: Texas Week

Monday’s AEW All In: Texas Countdown Sale event in Arlington, Texas also featured Conrad Thompson announcing that his Starrcast convention will be returning in July of 2025 as part of All In: Texas week in the city.

“I’m proud to announce right here today, Tony, that All In is now a week. It is going to be a destination. Starrcast is coming back to All In right here in Arlington.

It’s all about nostalgia. This is about a celebration, a love letter for wrestling fans. A friend of mine once called it the Woodstock of wrestling. Something for everybody. Multiple generations, the favorite Hall of Famers, the favorite legends, and the stars of the day, and also interactive experiences you can’t do anywhere else.”

This will be the first Starrcast event since this past April and the first to be associated with an AEW event since September of 2023 as part of All Out 2023.

Bobby Lashley Comments on Creative Freedom for His Wrestling Playing Big Role in Him Joining AEW

Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with Bobby Lashley. One of the topics discussed included Lashley’s thoughts about how the creative freedom that AEW provides is perfect for his wrestling career at this time in his life.

“When I was with the WWE, everything was very structured. There was a lot of structure there. Coming over to AEW, it gives you a little bit more creative liberty to just kind of have fun a little bit. I had those times when I was in WWE originally, when I first came in, and then I left. I went to TNA, I got to really just open up and really develop and find myself as a character when I was with TNA, because I had more flexibility. Then going back into WWE, the structure came back, which was good, and I really like what they have over there. Afterward, at this stage in my career, being an older athlete, just to have the ability to be able to help out younger guys, and be able to have creativity, and be able to explore things that I want to do and say, man, I think it’s perfect for me at this point my life.”
