Rhea Ripley Comments on “WWE Women Have Overcome A Lot Of Obstacles That Were Put In The Way”

Jazzy World TV held a recent interview with Rhea Ripley. One of the topics discussed included Ripley’s thoughts about what obstacles women have had to overcome in WWE to find bigger success for their wrestling careers.

“Being taken for granted, I think. The women in WWE, we’ve come a very, very long way. We’ve overcome a lot of obstacles that were put in the way and it’s been growing each and every year. I think that was the biggest obstacle just getting people to sort of take us seriously for the longest time people joked about us being the toilet break which is just plain and disrespectful especially when the women go out there and we leave everything that we have out in the ring and we go just as hard as the men do so don’t don’t treat us with that disrespect so we’re making people realize that we can go just as hard as the men and if not harder.”

Lance Anoa’i WWE Contract Signing Status Update

As noted before, Major League Wrestling talent Lance Anoa’i signed an official contract with WWE this past Summer. Anoa’i signing had been rumored following him appearing at a recent charity event with other WWE NXT talents and was seen wearing a NXT shirt.

Keeks and Squeaks held a recent interview with former WWE and ECW wrestler LA Smooth, real name Llyod Anoa’i. One of the topics discussed included Smooth confirming that his nephew Lance is currently under contract with WWE for their NXT brand.

“Jacob Fatu, my nephew, I was waiting for them to pick him up. I’m so blessed. My other nephew, Lance Anoa’i, he’s NXT right now and one that I have right now that I’ll fit, I would actually put my own son in there, because I’m training him. He’s 17 years old, he’s 6’4 and he hasn’t stopped growing. So, you know, could be part of our third generation.”
