Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn Reunite and Form OTC WarGames Team on Friday’s WWE SmackDown Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York featured Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn reuniting together and forming the OTC Bloodline team for this year’s Survivor Series WarGames event.

During the show, Reigns and Jimmy Uso came out to the ring. Before Reigns could speak, Jey Uso’s music played and came out to the ring. Jey grabbed a microphone and stated that there is a lot of misunderstanding going on and if Roman can hear them out and to hear what he has to say. This led to Zayn’s music playing and made his way out to the ring. Zayn talked about what happened between them at Crown Jewel and after some more words, he stated that it when it was the four of them in the ring for just a minute, it was special. Zayn then talked about his past time in the Bloodline being a very special time in his career and life and a special time with family. After some more words, Zayn stated that he does not think Roman is indifferent to him. Zayn stated that he thinks Roman loves him, which led to Roman smirking in reaction and an excited Zayn responding stating he sees Roman smirking and it is still there. Zayn stated that he remembers the old days just like everybody else and it could be like that again. Zayn then told Reigns that the ball is in his court and if he wants him to turn around and leave and not be part of the Bloodline business again, he will do it. Zayn stated that he does not think that is what Roman wants, he thinks Roman wants the four of them fighting together side by side again. Zayn then stated that if that is what Roman wants, he will do it but he just needs Roman to do one thing for him, which he revealed to be for him to apologize to Jey.

This led to Roman approaching Jey and after giving some thought, he responded stating ” I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I ever let you waste my time with this. He is not in our family. He is not blood, he is not honorary, he is no Uso. It is not about him, it is about Solo. Bring your ass out to the ring right now and let’s handle business.” This led to an upset Zayn leaving the ring but not before saying something quick to Jey.

In a follow-up segment, Reigns and Jimmy were seen walking backstage only to be interrupted by Jey. Jey told Reigns that he asked him to do one thing which was to hear Zayn out. Reigns responded asking why he cares about Zayn since he means nothing to them and if he cares about him that much, go find Zayn. Jey responded back stating that he told Reigns to not speak to him like that or else he is out. Jey stated that was his one pass and then left. Jimmy asked Reigns what is he doing, which led to an upset Reigns responding back telling Jimmy to go find his brother. This led to Jimmy being caught off guard over Reigns’ response and left.

In another follow-up segment, Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline came out to the ring for Sikoa’s Undisputed Tribal Chief Acknowledgement ceremony. After some words by Sikoa, Reigns music played and he came out to the ring. Sikoa stated that it is good to see him and told him that Roman needed to acknowledged him as he is the Undisputed Tribal Chief. Reigns responded refusing Sikoa and challenged him to a match to determine who is the only Tribal Chief. Sikoa responded back laughing at Reigns’ challenge and stated that Reigns can’t be a Tribal Chief since there is no tribe for him. Sikoa then challenged Reigns to a WarGames match and for him to go find four people to be on his team. Reigns responded stating that he only sees fourth of them in the ring which Sikoa responded counting himself, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and revealed his final member being Zayn. This led to Zayn coming out and stood on the stage as the Bloodline proceeded to attack Reigns. This led to the Usos running out to save Reigns and fought off the Bloodline except for Sikoa out of the ring. Sikoa then picked up Reigns and prepared to hit him with a Samoan Spike only to look at Sami and told him to get into the ring to finish the job. Zayn went into the ring and after being told several times to attack Reigns, he hit Sikoa instead with a Helluva Kick that was followed by Reigns hitting a spear to lay out Sikoa. The Usos then went back into the ring and proceeded to put up their fingers in the air leading to Zayn doing the same and followed by Reigns officially reuniting the original Bloodline together again.

Kevin Owens Injures Randy Orton’s Neck with Forbidden Piledriver on Friday’s WWE SmackDown Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Kevin Owens attacking Randy Orton with a piledriver and Orton being stretchered out of the venue with a neck injury.

During the show, an angry Orton came out to the ring and gave a foul mouthed rant directed at Owens over their heated brawl at Crown Jewel was only the beginning and he is going to end this shit now. Orton then yelled for Owens to come out right now, which led to Owens doing so but being stopped by WWE officials in a futile effort by them. Owens was eventually able to make his way to the ring and engaged in a brawl with Orton that ended with Owens hitting a low blow to Orton and followed it with a piledriver right onto Orton’s previously injured neck. This led to WWE officials pushing Owens away and attended to Orton as he clutched his neck. Michael Cole stated on commentary that there is a reason why the piledriver is banned in WWE and Corey Graves called for medics. This led to medics coming out and placed a brace around Orton’s neck and put him on a stretcher to bring him to the back.

While Orton was being stretched backstage to a waiting ambulance, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Cody Rhodes came out and Rhodes stated that he will go with Orton to the hospital and hopped inside the ambulance.
