WWE NXT Notes: Wes Lee, Je’Von Evans, & Sol Ruca Advance to Men’s & Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Matches at NXT Deadline 2024, Niko Vance Joins Shawn Spears Stable, Yoshiki Inamura Makes NXT Debut, Card for 11/19 Show

Wes Lee & Je’Von Evans Advances to Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match at NXT Deadline 2024

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured two qualifying matches for the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline 2024.

The first qualifier match was Wes Lee defeating Cedric Alexander.

The second qualifier match was Je’Von Evans defeating Lexis King.

As a result of their victories, Lee and Evans advance to the Men’s Survivor Challenge match at this December’s NXT Deadline 2024 event.


Sol Ruca Advances to Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match at NXT Deadline 2024

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured one qualifying match for the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline 2024.

This qualifier match was Sol Ruca defeating Cora Jade.

As a result of her victory, Ruca advances to the Women’s Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline 2024, which takes place on December 7th at the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Niko Vance Joins Shawn Spears’ Stable on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Niko Vance being revealed as the newest member of Shawn Spears’ stable.

During the show, NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo was seen eating a meal at a restaurant surrounded by his concierge. Spears and Brooks Jensen showed up and interrupted D’Angelo’s meal leading to an upset reaction by D’Angelo. Spears talked about D’Angelo’s title belt and stated that he has let Tony slide twice but it won’t happen a third time. Spears stated that Tony has grown his family. D’Angelo responded stating that he had to take out a monster to win the title and it took three years. Spears responded issuing a challenge but not for him, but for Jensen since he deserves it. D’Angelo responded telling Jensen to think for himself leading to Spears responding back stating he doesn’t question what Tony does so he does not want Tony to question him. Spears then stated that he is hungry to do more and all that will satisfy his appetite is the North American title.

After Spears & Jensen left, both were seen in the parking lot and entered a van but not before Spears told Jensen that his how you deal with the boss. Spears then spoke to a mystery person driver and asked if that is how you do it. This mystery person revealed himself to be Niko Vance and stated that he agrees before driving away.


Yoshiki Inamura Makes NXT Debut Appearance on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Pro Wrestling NOAH talent Yoshiki Inamura making his official debut appearance in NXT.

During the show, Inamura was seen with Josh Briggs in NXT GM Ava’s office. Briggs gave glowing praise of Inamura during his time in NOAH this past summer and Inamura responded stating he appreciates being in NXT.


Current Card for Next Week’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured several new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on November 19th.

These matches were all setup following promos, storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.

In regards to notable matches announced, a NXT Championship #1 Contender’s match of Andre Chase vs. Ridge Holland was announced for next week’s show. This match features the stipulation of if Chase loses to Holland, then he must disband Chase U.
