Jey Uso Comments on Wanting to Become WWE Champion for His WWE Career Goal

A recent episode of the Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg podcast featured Jey Uso as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Uso’s thoughts about becoming a singles champion in WWE following his recent Intercontinental Championship victory and reign.

“It puts a stamp on you. Everyone wants it. When you come in as a wrestler, hell yeah you want to hold the WWE Championship one time. World Heavyweight Championship one time. I want to hold that shit. I’ve never thought about being a champ like that until I got the IC Title and 2024 popped off the way it did. It built my confidence and made me believe. Hell yeah, I can be the face.”

Uso also gave his thoughts about his current goal of wanting to become a World Champion for his wrestling career in WWE.

“Yeah, I want the title. I’ll take it off of anybody, just give me the shot. Gunther, where it is? Cody Rhodes, we can run it. I’m going to get the big one. No one believes that, just like they doubted me the whole time. It’s all good. I’m used to that. It’s fuel to the fire. I’m going to get it. I’ll put it out there. I’m main event Jey Uso now. They know me now. Whether it be Bloodline or whatever. I’m that kind of performer where I can stand on my own. Put me in the ring with whoever and we’re going to build each other up. We’re going to cut these promos the way I cut them and we’re going to do work. We’re going to get it.”

Robert Stone Comments on Being Hopeful WWE Holding NXT Show at 2300 Arena Becomes Annual Event

A recent episode of The Babyfaces Podcast featured NXT talent Robert Stone as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Stone’s thoughts about him being hopeful that WWE holding a show at the 2300 Arena becomes an annual event for NXT.

“My first-ever live event for TNA was in 2010 (at 2300 Arena) against Rhino, so go figure 14 years later he’s still Goring me in the same building. It was cool to see a lot of old friends. Dawn Marie is from my town. I’m friends with Francine, Nunzio, the Dudleys. Guys that I’ve worked with, guys I’ve traveled with. To see them again and see them also get their flowers, returning to the building and getting some exposure. It was a really cool night and I hope it’s something that maybe happens yearly. It was such a successful show and it created so much excitement, I think the fans were pleased. It wasn’t a letdown. You get built up for things, you watch and kind of ‘Oh, that wasn’t that good.’ It was phenomenal. It was a great episode. The crowd was hot all night. The people got their money’s worth and it left me wanting more. I think everyone else did too.”
