Jaida Parker Comments on Being Motivated by Competition in NXT’s Women’s Division
A recent episode of the WWE – Die Woche show featured WWE NXT talent Jaida Parker as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Parker’s thoughts about her Hardcore match against Lola Vice that featured ECW legend Dawn Marie as the special guest referee on the November 6th NXT show at the 2033 Arena.
“It was amazing (competing at NXT 2300). It was so amazing. I asked my coaches — the ones like Steve Corino who came from ECW — I was like, ‘How was it?’ He was like, ‘The fans are gonna love it.’ Especially because I’m in it from my Street Fight with Michin and everything so they’re like, ‘You’ve built this up so you have to deliver’ and I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, I’m gonna deliver.’ But when I saw the matches that ECW used to put on, those Hardcore matches, I said, ‘Oh, I have to show out. I have to show out’ so, it was one of the best experiences of my life because I fed off of the crowd. They were amazing. I would love to go back. Philly is amazing.”
Parker also gave her thoughts about how the competition within NXT’s Women’s division has kept her motivated for her career in WWE.
“Oh, it motivates me every day because I know — to me, they’re (NXT women’s division) not competition because it’s me against me. But I know I don’t want them getting in my way. I see how well they’re doing. I’m like, okay, let me top you off with this because you won’t outwork me, you won’t outhustle me, you won’t out grind me and I make sure of that every single day. So I love the competition because it’s like a fire for me. But, at the same time, you gonna get what’s coming to you if you get in my way.”

Liv Morgan Comments on How Her Shoulder Injury in 2023 Helped Improve Her Mental Health & WWE Career
A recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured Liv Morgan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Morgan’s thoughts about how her suffering a shoulder injury in 2023 ended up helping improve her mental health issues and her wrestling career in WWE.
“I feel like my whole career, up until after my injury — I didn’t come from entertainment, I don’t have a wrestling family, I’m not a division-one athlete. And so I think I almost had like imposter syndrome for a very long time. Not feeling like I deserved to be here or that I earned to be here, but I loved it so much. I grew up a fan of WWE since I was five years old. It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. But I think I struggled for a long time just feeling like I don’t fit the bill.
And it wasn’t until I had my time off during my injury that I got to just really sit with myself for the first time in the last 10 years of my life. I’ve been with WWE since I was 20 years old. And so, to just have no schedule and to just really like sit with myself — I feel like it did wonders for my mental health, my confidence. And so when I came back, I felt so different. And I just knew I was ready now.”

In a recent interview with the 1 Of A Kind podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart gave his thoughts about his claims that Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Shawn Michaels tried to get Ken Shamrock fired from WWE solely due to them not liking Shamrock. Hart stated “When I met him (Ken Shamrock), he said, ‘I broke my wrist and I gotta let my wrist heal so I can go back,’ and he goes, ‘I can’t go back until my wrist heals,’ and I said, ‘Why don’t you do pro wrestling for New York while your wrist heals? Let’s go make some money,’ and next thing you know, he says, ‘Alright, I’m in,’ and then I talked Vince (McMahon) into it and Vince signed him and it’s funny, when they signed him, Triple H and Shawn (Michaels) tried to get him fired. For no reason other than he was just — they didn’t like him, and I just remember Vince called me into his office and he goes, ‘I’m thinking about letting Shamrock go,’ and I’m like, ‘Why?’ He goes, ‘Some of the guys think he’s real stiff’ and this and that and he didn’t even have any reason. He goes, ‘What do you think? What’s your honest opinion?’ And I said, ‘I would keep him. He’s doing alright, he’s doing great,’ and then like two weeks, a couple weeks later, he’s refereeing my match with Steve Austin and they kept him on and then he had his whole career there.” (Transcript h/t: PostWrestling.com)
