WWE: Indi Hartwell on Her WWE Release, Janel Grant’s Attorney on More Alleged Vince McMahon Victims Have Come Forward, Randy Orton “Neck Injury” Update

Indi Hartwell Comments on Her Recent Release from WWE

As noted before, Indi Hartwell was among those released by WWE earlier this month.

Hartwell recently released a new video on her YouTube channel. One of the topics discussed included Hartwell’s thoughts about her recent release from WWE being something that she did not expect would happen.

“Okay, so a week ago today, I was released from my WWE contract and it’s been a weird week of different feelings and emotions. It’s still pretty fresh. But honestly, I can say that I’m doing well and i’m feeling good. Now, I’m sure a lot of people can say, you know, how didn’t you see this coming? You should have seen this coming. But honestly, the past few weeks, like maybe two, three weeks of being back on TV, I didn’t have that feeling at all and I didn’t expect it. But I took it like a champ. Honestly, the positive experiences that I had there and all my positive feelings, they outweigh everything. any negative feelings. I am very much looking on the bright side of things. I love to keep perspective. So, that’s why I feel like I’ve been so positive about this and I hope that’s evident in the message that I put out on Instagram. But I’ve just really truly appreciated every single person that’s reached out to me to check on me, to send me love. I’ve loved reading through all the comments, people saying nice things. For those of you who didn’t reach out to me, you are on my naughty list. I’ve got all your names written down here. But it honestly has been really nice to be reminded of how loved I am. So I do really truly appreciate anyone who’s given me… positive message. I’m sure I’ll talk about it all more, you know, as the weeks go on, as I upload more. But I think for now, I’ll leave it at that.”

Vince McMahon Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Update – Janel Grant’s Attorney Says More Alleged Victims Have Come Forward

As noted before, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit this past January against former TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon accusing McMahon of committing sex trafficking and sexual abuse towards her during her time in the company. Grant’s lawsuit has been on hold since this past April due to the U.S. Department of Justice launching a criminal investigation into McMahon and joined the lawsuit as an “interested party.”

SEScoops held a recent interview with Grant’s attorney Ann Callis. One of the topics discussed included Callis revealing that more alleged victims of McMahon have recently come forward to them.

“I can say generally Janel has been courageous in speaking out about her situation. Her hope is she is an example to other people who feel that they are not alone and they can speak out themselves and we have been seeing that. I have had several people contact me and we are doing vetting and going through that process.”

Callis also gave her thoughts about her belief that NDAs have been weaponized by companies to prevent victims from coming forward with their abuse allegations in the workplace.

“They have been weaponized and I think that’s why recent laws have been passed in order to protect men and women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted in the workplace.

When you’re faced with a multi-national corporation or a multi-billion dollar company, there’s a lot of road blocks that you will see when you are faced with protecting your children and feeding them. It’s an unfortunate situation people find themselves in but recent legislation, case law and precedent should make these people feel better about their situation. Some companies want to characterize workers as independent contractors, but it’s not as clear cut, in many of these instances the courts find they are indeed employees.”
